The only muddy ness is the difference in punishment. The rules were broken . The rules apply for all competitions. No mitigating circumstances nor precedent for what is an unprecedented punishment

Agree with much of this yet question it more. First of all Tom English has no love for Clyde or any other clubs at our un-newsworthy level. He was very outspoken retrospectively about Goodwillie, and in my opinion quoted us for cheap effect. My limited knowledge of board members show no arrogance apart from our most recent former chairman- and that’s no bad thing . Furthermore- perhaps because I’m of a certain vintage - I didnt think the Glasgow Branch we’re anywhere near as big as the Castlemilk Branch, and without having a pop were no more than the colourful bunch of Santa’s at Cliftonhill. Regardless of a supporters branch size, backing like you mention is fantastic, but surely it’s for love of club and not as you say to get value. Just not sure how that correlates to a points deduction. If you are suggesting it’s a result of the same people being responsible then to me that’s a sad indication of what little or more specifically over worked skill sets we have. if there’s a long list of directors lining up to offer their skills, all they need to do is declare at an agm.

Afraid we’re in no position to point, laugh or deflect at anybody else. That being said that’s not to agree with the Punishment handed out. There’s no precedent, no “norm” and most importantly no fixed penalty . This is a new rule, so the club have no previous. Genuinely hope there is an appeal and the lawyer on the board gets the ridiculous points penalty overturned. The result on the pitch yesterday put paid to any title win, so it’s now about the playoffs with the fairest and in my opinion correct points total.

Tell you what is harsh watching the comp brigade every week at broadwood Stalker! Personally don’t have any issues with volunteers who work on match days getting in for nothing, but that’s not to say they don’t have season tickets anyway. Im not sure you know if they do or don’t! too much good going on to get angry about things like this

Very fair points. I remember it being mentioned Bobby Gracy didn’t endear himself when point blank refusing to buy a season ticket! That was before he was “ousted”

Not sure the 200 club has not been already budgeted for and used. Not disappointed if it has, but would highly doubt its there waiting.

Good to see Tom Lang back training . Can’t see where he would get a start currently, but long season ahead and will be a vital part of the squad.

I loathed Clyde under Chapman, and I’m very much pro Innes,but can’t agree with what appears to be bluffing tactics. Perhaps the new lawyer on board can can prevent costly mistakes like this in future.
