Underwhelming

Close season can be both exciting and frustrating. As David W eluded to after signing Lamont and Mcstay - we had the same team minus the Huddersfield loans that played so well in 2018. We've now added 5 more and who’s to say we’re done? Also been said elsewhere, but the management of Lennon and Moore is something else I don’t feel any other team in the division has. Ive never hated McNiff but his performances under a proper management team, shows how important our managerial duo are. Given the job they have done to this point I’m quite frankly amazed anyone can categorise our close season activity as underwhelming in any way. But perhaps that’s post season syndrome.

Guys from the colts may do decent community work,but nowhere near what Clyde now do. Suspect NLL have been monitoring who engages in worthwhile community involvement and has a sustainable community programme moving forward. By making their preference obvious- the colts - like Clyde previously have apparently spat the proverbial dummy.

See all this talk about DGW being away if a decent offer comes in. Who would make that offer? Will any club pay money + the baggage and then the backlash? No doubt his ability and how he has played this season and last - would make him football wise a great signing for most teams in the country , but I’m not so sure it will happen.

It most certainly is. Trying to determine if it's must see or cant miss TV! Only downside is I've watched first 4 episodes and don't know if I need to wait a fortnight before 5 & 6 come on!
