  1. Not sure what the 72 hours is about. Nothing has changed for me that we had to get through this season and move forwards. At least you had the decency to quantify in your eyes. Eyes that you have stated won't be back, so a pointless conversation from now on
  2. Well with your permission I would trust someone like David Dishon and even the club whose accounts get published to do it properly. and with your permission, YES I WILL draw a line and move forward
  3. Well done Arbroath. the 5-0 cup game seems a very distant memory!
  4. You do realise that permitting that, is against the rules and would have cost a points deduction and fine. Pretty sure the accounts are available at agm's and such also. Time to draw a line under the whole season, the former manager, and look forward to next season, as It cant get any worse.
  5. I asked this previously on here when I first got joined on here, and I didn't really get an answer. Theres PLENTY wrong with our club just now, and for a while, but I'm not convinced the genesis is this CIC, but happy to be proved wrong if the information is forthcoming about why its wrong.
  6. He appears to speak with passion and look forward to seeing what jr brings along. Interesting to to see his commitment to the cic- that will go down well
  7. Havent seen it, and wouldn't have the first clue how to watch on iplayer - could you elaborate please?
  8. So how can a distraction from football about politics be about politics suiting many people at the club? Being old enough to remember John Profumo incident - all politics since then has bored me to tears. So that's why not ALL of us are enjoying the distraction.
  9. I remember his dad playing for us, good player who was signed to replace a Scottish international in Archie Robertson. I must have missed Norrie jnr's contributions under wee craigy. Don't think he played that often, but could be wrong.
  10. If you look at the facebook page cfcuk - you will see there isn't actually any proposal to see whether its good or to dismiss it.
  11. Going by the Facebook page they don't now have anything to say, so no need for a mediator as sensible as that would be.
  12. Maybe it's because I'm getting on a bit - but on the facebook page, it appears that Stephen Tennant has no plans for us to look over at this time. Can anyone else who has seen it, confirm or contradict this? I'm losing enough grey hairs, without trying to engage my brain into understanding this!
  13. Yeah, I don't quite know what he's talking about, but has seen fit to talk about my posts, without answering questions I've put on them. For the record I didn't say I knew nothing about clyde - I was at the 55 and 58 cup final, and if you must know I got a kindle fire for my xmas, and it's taken me this long to figure out how to work it! I thought it would be good to talk about the current goings on at Clyde as we have just lost our manager, and what was an encouraging season at the start of it has turned into a disaster. So please, if all you want to do is cynically have a pop at every message I put on - don't bother. I'm more than welcome to enter a debate about ALL things Clyde, with anyone.
  14. Interesting points you make, and whilst not disputing them, where are the facts that this is the case? I see Stephen Tennant has now joined the facebook page, so I take back what I said about him not being on it, although I wouldn't have said I was until I was My limited understanding is that the will not negotiate at a serious level until John Alexander is removed entirely from the board - presumably as they see him as an obstacle in moving forward. If that is the case, why are they still involved with Bobby Gracey? Surely if the clubs best interests is there goal, they would respect a similar removal of an obstacle?
  15. Interesting as I seen no sign of him on this Facebook page or any pseudonym being used that prompted this post. May well be an alias
  16. Sorry - I tried to do this on Facebook page, but says you're not in there Woukd it be be out of order to ask a couple if questions? What current sponsors have you spoken to and were the discussions positive? & Why would you include Bobby Gracey in your group knowing his previous and well documented failures and the very low opinion he is widely held in?
  17. Of Course they have responsibility - but that's a board responsibility and it would be the same board if it was a LTD company rather than a CIC - or am I missing something. I'm also not stating its been great or not - I am simply asking for facts to be put on display to suggest it's the absolute shambles it's been labelled as on here or what would be different if we had carried on under the previous regimes? Genuine question.
  18. Well, don't know if my intentions were misleading on my original post - but take it easy on the new guy eh? The league position is down to the players and manager no? Be honest - were you happy with the squad at the start of the season - I know I was. I'm not absolving anyone of blame - I'm looking to volunteer, so I need facts as to why it would be a waste of time, or if there are any other draconian forces at work which I am not aware of. Do you have any facts about the CIC not working or is it just an opinion? Opinions are fine, but surely you would agree that they carry much more muster if backed up by facts?
  19. Apologies - new to this board and online posting kind of thing. Glad that Ferguson is away, despite all the hard work he put in, for some strange reason, the football we were playing at the start of the season could not be replicated and we couldn't get out the slump we got in. Hopefully there's some kind of pickup against Montrose as it's obvious there is a fear in the players to turn this round. It's pretty much all on them now. Not a member of the CIC, and not related to any board members either, but perhaps someone could enlighten me as to the ACTUAL problem with the CIC? As far as I know, its not and never has been for fundraising, although it has generated funds through its three sponsorships much more than what we can get through match-day income due to our tenancy agreement. I see also that an improved relationship with our landlords has seen hospitality revived and Club 58 opened. Then you have the excellent work being done in the community through the foundation - it may not raise money, but as far as I know it doesn't cost anything - so I cant see the harm? I can understand although not agree that the board are accountable for the appointment of Ferguson, and subsequent failure of him, and again understand if not agree that some may feel the problem lies with them - but again I ask what has the CIC model go to do with who is on the board? Finally, I would ask if any one has any experience that they step forward, and if they feel they cannot - why not. Or if they have tried before that they publicly tell us why they were not taken up on it. The CIC is supposed to be transparent, so if there's things getting hidden or pushed under the carpet, I would like to know what and why.
