Got to agree with the statements about the conduct of our fans. Throwing cups of juice at pensioners, spitting down on fans from the back of the stand and trying to break seats in our own stadium. Don’t think the day trippers will be missed next week tbh. As for the game, we could’ve played all day and not scored. You can see why those c***s don’t lose many but we were disappointing.

We are absolutely here on merit and you won’t find a single Falkirk fan who will tell you different. However last seasons results and your playoff history has absolutely no relevance to yesterdays match. We have a new management team and 8 of our starting 11 have changed. Looking at both teams, yesterday is a game we should’ve won and the fact we stunk the place out and came away with a point seems to back that up.

Just to clarify, I don’t think anyone has said we should “easily dispatch them”. However we went there today with a better team than them and on a good run of form so why are we trying to pretend a draw was a good result. Why shouldn’t we have expected to win today? Why can’t we be disappointed that we didn’t?

Of course we won’t win every game but we need to get rid of this losers mentality. A draw at Montrose is not a good result no matter how pish we were last year. Finishing 4th is not an achievement no matter where we finished last year. We are on a good run but unfortunately we never turned up today. If we had we would’ve won the game. At least McGlynn gets that and didn’t try and dress that up as anything other than disappointing today. I fancy we’ll bounce back on Tuesday

I don’t think it’s just the 90%/10% comment, I think it’s the use of the phrase “it’s not fair”. What’s not fair is that the group of people who are privileged to get the opportunity to run our club continually run it into the ground. It’s not fair that fans are then just expected to bail them out whether they can afford to or not. Tbh it’s not fair on the current board either as this is not their doing. I have no doubt the fans will play their part as we are emotionally invested but I think a message of “help…we’re fucked” would’ve seen more fans put their hand in their pocket than that divisive garbage.

The new regime have got a lot right to be fair to them but holy shit that is bad.

I’ve never bought into the argument that the playoffs would be some sort of achievement. The aim has to be to compete for the title but not bringing a RB in this week could be significant. I think everyone at the club will know that so just hope there is some sort of budget available to do it.

Today stinks of last season - a goalie chucking them in, centre halves giving the ball away all day, a powderpuff midfield and no threat up front. McGlynn is desperate to play Mackie at LB and I have no idea why. A team including McGuffie and Nesbitt will never compete for this league.
