    Probably the most itk post I'll ever put on here but Mrs P was having a right good blether with McKinstry's maw today. seemingly homesickness was a major factor in him coming back up the road and doesn't sound like they are anticipating him heading back down south after his loan ends . 10 year permanent deal at the end of the season incoming.

    Buzzing for Saturday. Neither of my boys have any experience of watching anything other than Alexanderball so can't wait to see their reaction to silky free flowing attacking football. Hopefully it will be enough to stop my youngest from continually asking me to take him to a Barcelona match .

    100% behind this appointment. Yes it could come under the banner of being a massive risk but this isn't like your typical ex player appointment where they've stopped playing , bounced about a few media commitments then decided they fancy the gig. The fact that he's already acknowledged that GA had left us in a sh*te position playing sh*te fitba and he has plans to fix that gives me confidence in him. Noone else will have his knowledge or passion for the club and if we need to turn the season round we need someone to hit the ground running not spending months acclimatising and then trying to perform major surgery in January. Confident he will do well , have us safe from the drop and playing decent football before getting poached by St Mirren next summer.

    My boy was quick to point out that McGinley's picture is missing from the squad list in the program today , would it be too much to hope that something unfortunate has happened there too ?

    Very disappointed to lose a game so late but although the result was the same it definitely felt different to the losses of the last 6 months. Yes we definitely need a few more players and it looks like our forwards believe we're never going to score from open play again but saw enough in there to think that Slattery coming back in , a wee bit more confidence in attack and someone telling GI Joe to just f*cking shoot when the goal has opened up beautifully in front of him instead of taking another 3 touches should give us a kernel of hope for the season ahead .

    I must have looked at the interview differently than the general consensus on here . Imo I felt he was very much saying that he would take it if that's what the powers that be felt was the best solution because he would literally do anything for the club, all the while trying to hold back from saying that he'd be barking mad to leave what he's got going with the academy.

    Is it into the little triangle wedge type shape ? Mrs p went through that phase , ' look how much space it's saving us !!' aye and it's completely impractical when it actually comes to using them !

    Get Croft in the bin , that's at least 6 times in this race he's got a driver that he's commentating on completely wrong !
