  1. The amount of people I've seen claiming that Lewis was right to just take to the runoff and floor it as he was forcibly bundled off the track is unreal. What he should have done is brake when he saw max coming in hot , take a nice wide line in and wave as he passes while max is offline with a much slower exit speed. Like how racers would have to do it when faced with a gravel trap or barrier on the outside of a corner. Far too easy for drivers now to just keep a move going far too deep into a corner knowing at the end they can just bail out if it doesn't go their way . If the Lewis fanboys are going on about consistency then he should have been DQ'd for not completing the chicane just like Senna in '89 after being rammed by Prost .
  2. Yup , seen it , may actually watch it again . Also worth a watch is the story of the (1984?) F3 season brundle Vs Senna , shows that brundle knows first hand what he's talking about after ending up with Senna's car on top of him at Snetterton's bombhole.
  3. Overkill Dancing on your Grave. Over Your Shoulder. Damage Case. Orgasmatron. Special mention to 1916, possibly Lem's finest set of lyrics.
  4. There's a good chance that I might as I absolutely love I got mine and dancing on your grave.
  5. Very much so ! Have never ventured into the top5s forum. Will have to give this a thought , would be hard pushed to narrow it down to top 5 from each decade !
  6. The funny thing here is that Senna , Lewis' absolute idol and person whose flag he is happy to adopt to ingratiate himself to all Senna's fans, would 100% have been the Max Verstappen character in this year's championship. Not to mention the stuff that went on in the Prost/Senna title battles makes this year's 'farcical ending' seem like nothing more than a playground scuffle.
  7. Think that's my first ever back to back 10s , TEN for Tuesday , couldn't have written a better set of questions for myself !
  8. It rather got lost in the whole controversy yesterday but I was surprised at how easy Hamilton made it for Verstappen on the last lap, tyre issues notwithstanding. He left the door well and truly open. Why didn't he cover the inside? Was he not expecting Verstappen to try a move there? All very odd. I'm pretty sure he would have been expecting max to go for it on the straight so was trying to take as wide a line as possible for the best exit and Max has just elbowed past him .
  9. Just had a quick look , holy sh*t there is some amount of seethe going on there !
  10. This is pretty much it. There's no disputing it should have been a safety car , it was already decided before the start that of a car crashed there it would be a SC . He would have got slaughtered if he let the race run out behind the SC so fair play for getting the track cleared and ready to race quickly , if he'd made the call straight away to let the lapped cars through then they would have had plenty time to get back running with the same result and zero (legal) controversy.
  11. That's the exact tweet I'd been having a look for but couldn't Wade through all the Hamilton fanboy tears on mercs Twitter page
  12. I thought that he was close to overtaking before the line a few times but only by a few inches and for fractions of a second , if so surely he reinstated his gap just like Hamilton done on the first lap. Mercedes the bastion of sporting integrity now trying to find any possible technicality to turn the result around .
  13. I couldn't even have imagined something that would produce as much salty tears from Toto as that . Absolutely brilliant !
  14. Get that car to f*ck and get the race on.
  15. Let's see how saintly Hamilton's driving is if he has max breathing down his neck on the final few laps.
  16. If Max gets this because Merc made a schoolboy error not stopping it would be pretty delightful.
  17. So it was yourself that was responsible for that lightbox message on AVFTT then ....
