    I wonder how much the heat and physical exhaustion played it's part in maybe making both drivers make 'less than optimal' decisions, along with the pressure of the championship possibly being decided . I noticed after qualifying everyone looked absolutely f*cked and wondered then whether fatigue could play a part in the race.

    Didnt realise just how much he was on when he was dodging about the continent for a few years , fingers crossed he was piling all of that cash under his mattress while sitting about watching movies at night. Add that to his talk about being places previously where he's been really unhappy that could be enough to stop his head being turned with a big fat paycheck. Still fully preparing myself for him to go to Aberdeen for an extra tank of petrol a week though.

    So many different factors in it tho. Regardless of how much you're getting paid having shit working conditions or a drastic change to your family life balance will get old pretty quick. You've got to imagine that being in a place that brings out the best in you is worth more than getting an extra grand a week . The thing here is tho that if he's going down south then it won't be for 50k a year more , it's more likely to be several times that figure .

    Wow , that's way more than any 20 year old should have had to deal with. I was already on the Tierney train but my god I've never wanted a new signing to do as well with us as this guy.

    Aye and that he calls him Graham . Maybe I'm showing my age but surely a 20 year old making his first big move should be calling him The Boss/ The Gaffer / Mr Alexander . Tbf I think that just adds weight to his given monicker of Shagger.

    To lose a title on the last day of the season understandably must leave a mark that would last a lifetime , but the fact that most of his saltiness is about us celebrating winning is absolutely magnificent. He must see our players celebrating every night when he closes his eyes .

    Inverness at home in the cup gives me the fear tbh. Hopefully our good team turns up that day and then we can get a good wee away day in the next round.

    Made an appointment for the boy at the opticians last week for today. Ran it past Mrs p advising I may or may not be at work so if she wants to rebook for another time then batter in. No it's fine and plans were discussed for if I am or am not at work , sorted. Get a phone call just after 3 today as she's picking the kids up from school, " junior p's appointment is today isn't it , I totally forgot , what time is it , what? Why did u make it for that time ??! What am I going to do I'll never get there on time and I can't take all the kids can I !! " A follow up call 2 minutes later , " I'm having to drop the kids off at my dad's , you have to phone the opticians and let them know we won't be there on time " phone hung up without a chance to even reply. Got a message 15 minutes later ' that's us here ' , 10 minutes before the booked appointment.

    91 and 92 were the seasons that I absolutely fell in love with F1 and it was almost entirely down to the yellow blue and white of Williams, to this day I still can't think of F1 without associating it with that Williams colour scheme. An absolute icon and legend in the sport and a truly unique and inspirational man . RIP.
