Then their pick should be respected. So it's unlikely they will pick token players -

Lot coming for the occasion. The club have potential new customers showing their faces at the premises for the first time let make them want to come back. Voucher game with maybe a discount at the shop, £* off a ticket for the first home game of the season. 10% returning would be a big win and a sound investment. -

SKY will be distinctly dischuffed at such a late call off. They will use this to screw the SFA when the contract is up for renewal. -

Right Back With Keelan Adams on a 2 year deal the management team will expect him to be challenging for that position. If we get Finn Yeats to sign a contract we will have for the first time for a while competition for the Right Back spot plus Yeats versatility for a midfield roll. Should we consider that position covered? With few players incoming it would be good to have a long standing position issue off the list. Thoughts? -

There will be a good many clubs in the league that will miss the Blue £ next season. -

Roy McGregor is very clever with the advertising hoardings, sponsorship, hospitality at the ground from his suppliers. Ross County charge top dollar with the companies have a nod and a wink from McGregor Supplies that their goodwill will not go unrecognised. Very like Brown at St Johnstone a fan who's a sound business person and puts the club first using his clout to do the best for team he supports. As you stated eggs in one basket and all to often ends badly. -

Falkirk - Dundee connection goes back a long way. Reg Smith - Bob Shankly - John Prentice - Simon Stainrod - Jim Duffy - Alex Totten - George Merchant - Bert Slater - Bobby Ford - Bobby Robinson - Wilson Hoggan - Jim Shirra - Ally Donaldson - Ian McColl - Vince Mennie (thanks a bundle and cruel taking the piss like that) Famous and infamous it's a colourful roll call -

Fair do's! just a thought on the many new faces and lapsed supporters that will turn up. With a reminder in their pocket of the great day. Come the first game of the season it could be the difference to some going or not. -

Could do a lot worse than give the home fans a voucher for £? off at the first home game of the season. A thank you and an inducement for those that are just coming for the occasion to go again. Bound to be a % pick up that will become afflicted to 'Expect the Unexpected' -

The point you make about Yeats and Tait having their football careers turned round at Falkirk will not have gone unnoticed by other young players who find themselves in a similar position at the end of the season. It was that reputation that motivated Will Vaulks so you never know what gem may come our way in the next couple of months. As for Yeats and Tait's future the club can only make the best offer they can and highlight the stability the club can give them to enhance their reputations and therefore play at a higher level in the future. -

Player of the Year My choice: Donaldson Reason, Consistency and influence he has on the team and players around him. Would not be surprised if a club makes an offer for him in the closed season -

Let's not go back to the existing stadium issue with who owns what - it's been flogged to death. The thread is the 4th Stand. What is the cheapest option to complete the stadium bearing in mind the existing facilities. Hardcore base, Paved suitable for hybrid terracing / seating, roofed Refreshments, Toilets, Turnstiles and the stadium is completed. I believe it would be rammed every game. If we aim for another stand like the ones we've got it ain't going to be built anytime soon. -

Club not tied into anything! Good grief man Falkirk are tied to a 99 year lease. You can't be taken seriously after that - go away -

Then a business plan has to be put in place to provide the facility the marketplace needs. Office space? No, plenty of empty office space already in the vicinity. Hospitality? Stadium has hospitality already so the council would veto As for free from Council money grabbing regarding the stadium. That's been talked to death, the council have the club tied up tight. We are stuck in the current facilities till the lease ends. So unless there is a Leaseholder / Market identified then no 4th stand or build a stand to hold fans and thats it. The latter is the cheaper option. But anyway - whatever it is thats seasons away but the club could agree the design, how much it costs, building approval then if the funds become available there is a shovel ready plan is on the shelf. -

Suspect the Ultra's would migrate there if it was built. Opposite the main stand and the spiritual home of Simon Stainrod's Barmy Army and the Houstie Hard Core. -

Filling the missing link to complete the stadium could do a lot worse than the Ayr United hybrid Standing/Seating set up. It certainly is the cheapest option, faster to build and once and for all end the speculation that goes on season after season with nothing happening. -

Livingston are a ticking clock to another financial collapse Ross County are bank rolled by Roy McGregor of McGregor Supply fame so when he pulls the financial plug they will find their level St Johnstone were fortunate, they got gifted the land for the stadium and a sound businessman in Brown to oversee things helped by a sympathetic council Long term objective should be Kilmarnock - Motherwell level, looked upon as near fixtures in the Premier League -

But who's out of contract? these are the positions the management will be concentrating on deciding if better players are available. As for players in the division you would swop for it's not relevant. Club will be looking at the higher divisions and for the first time in years Falkirk will be on the radar of the next Vaulks who will look on the club as the one to revive their career. It's all positive - however the displays this season will have attracted the attention of clubs to our current squad. Interesting times over the next few months. -

Relief, Deliverance and done in style. One of lives moments after the ecstasy and joy at what's been achieved. You have that first moment alone to contemplate with a clenched fist 'Yes!' Talk about relief! With the certainty of what league the club is playing in, it bodes well in the recruitment stakes with having a head start on the competition. -

He was a bugger to play against and niggled the opposition. Remember a game against Stenhousemuir, it was a corner to Falkirk and Fergie was jumping up in down in front of the goalie. As the corner was taken Fergie jumped on the toe of the Stenny goalie. There was the goalie hopping about while he nodded the ball in for a goal. Ran away to celebrate with the whole Stenny team following after his blood. Cunningham subbed him a few minutes later to avoid a punch up. -

That's interesting, few days after the game was told Tiger banjoed a fellow player just before they got on the bus to Hampden. Put that down to gossip but it would tie up with what you posted.
