The club stated it had to pay for roof repairs due to last winters storms, there was no mention the Council contributed and there was no statement made by the council that they had. Tickets for kids are an investment in the future as the home game becomes the norm as far as their social life is concerned that a large % will carry into adulthood and into the next generation. Also while they get in for free most will spend in the stadium, Programme, Pie, Fizzy drink etc so there will be an income stream from them that will not show up directly.
