  1. Yeah. Seems to me that the SFA/SPFL are questioning any team who had delayed results to find out the reason behind it, not necessary as a punishment. The issue with Rangers is that some of the players also played against Dundee United prior to this and that could mean some of them were playing without tests being confirmed. That isn't an accusation. Those who played against Dundee united could have been cleared before the match and it was only players who were due to face Motherwell that were still waiting on results, but the SFA/SPFL is still demanding some answers.
  2. It just feels like the players are not really taking it seriously? Quite a lack of movement, speed and foresight with any move. Thankfully this doesnt mean anything (points or cup wise).
  3. I am assuming we are still using last seasons kit due to a delay in getting the new kits in on time?
  4. Campbell not clearing it and leaving Kent to score a (reluctantly) good strike. The second we just didn't mark the man in the box. he had nearly the entire 6 yard box for himself. Don't really care much about the score, as long as the team show some determination and teamwork.
  5. Just incase anyone is not yet aware, the instructions for season ticket holders to access the lives streams are now up. https://www.motherwellfc.co.uk/2020/07/21/season-ticket-holder-live-stream-information/ Here is the text incase you cant access the website. This includes the friendly tomorrow with Rangers at 6pm.
  6. The 4 European Qualifer sides (Celtic, Rangers Motherwell & Aberdeen) will avoid the group stage section as its still the same set-up but delayed to october. The 8 group winners, 4 best runners-up and the european teams makes up the next round.
  7. All that means is there will be no break at all for rangers, which has been your achilles heel over the past 2 seasons.
  8. Premature celebration from the hearts fans there. Believing they have be award £5 million before arbitration starts is the exact same attitude that got them here in the first place.
  9. It really depends on a number of factors. 1. What is the stadiums capacity? 2. How well can it manage social distancing at the turnstiles, entrences, exits, toliets etc. 3. What is required outside and nearby the stadium 4. Will there be a second wave around this time? 5. What police and othe resources are available to manage the fans/stadium. And many more. The english leagues have the benefit of having much larger stadiums and potentailly better ways to socially distamce fans. I know whole fir park has around 3 times the number of seats compared to season ticket holders, keeping social distancing within the stands wod be very tricky and wod require all fans following the rules (which we know some fans will not).
  10. Noticed that the first of the carboard cut outs have been delivered. The Dog ones a cracker though!
  11. Tom English is that you? (Just heared tom say this on soportsound....)
  12. Seems the Scottish government has given the green light to have limited crowds within stadiums in the near future Good news for most teams as there should be plenty of space for season ticket holders!
  13. Why is everyone engaging with this Bampot? The topic at hand is that there will be no league reconstruction so surely this thread should be locked?
  14. You have to take into consideration the number of season tickets that are reduced/free kids tickets. That has a knock on effect if the adult cannot or does not make it to the game which means lower precentage of season ticket holders attending.
  15. Is that true? I assumed it was only the Champions league qualifiers that could be moved and that europa league fixtures wouldbonly be moved if 2 clubs within the same location are due to play at home (i.e. if both celtic and rangers were at home fornthe same europe league qualifier stage then one would be moved to wednesday) I just assumed it would definetly be on thursday with the current list of potential opponments.
  16. It is likely that our game against celtic on the 29th August will be pushed back to the 30th. We are due to be playing a Europa league qualifier so i am really bemused why this hasnt been taken into consideration (Aberdeens game has and our game isnt even being televised).
  17. Surely the celtic game on August 29th will have to be moved? We have our Europa league game on the 27th and if thats away then howwould we even be prepared for it?
  18. I was thinking about the fee we agreed. I believe it was supposed to be spread over a number of seasons, so there may be some money that is still due to be paid. With administration this may affect that fee.
  19. It seems that Wigan have went into administration. I wonder how this will affect any transfer fees for Kipre? Right now they get a 12 point deduction so they are now bottom of the championship, 4 points from safety with 6 games to go. They are one of the best performers over the last period (7 games without conceding i think) but how will this affect the team? How will this affect any transfer fees assuming we are still due some money) or sell on fees? I have no clue how any of this works but it is certainly an interesting topic.
  20. Hopefully whoever has caught the virus is going to make a full recovery. I wish him all the best. Just imagine if the season had been extended and it resulted in multiple (or the whole Aberdeen squad) self isolating? Thankfully we don't have to face this prospect.
  21. What i am hopeful for is a good run in the Europa League. We have a great squad as well as a few more advantages than we would have previously: Our season will be at least 3-4 games in before our first match. Much better than just starting with the European match and end up getting pumped out (Looking at the Stjarnan games...). 1 legged matches could be in our favour. Less risk of just waiting it out. Games should be played as a cup final each. 4 Cup finals and we get into the group stage. I have a much better feeling for this season compared to previous seasons (even last season!).
  22. Just confirmed on Sportscene that the Betfred cup will still have a group stage, which the European teams will avoid.
  23. It appears that the SPFL board has sent a resolution to clubs seeking temporary Covid-19 powers. I for one agree to give Senator Doncaster these emergency powers in order to combat these Separatists disagreements that is preventing the league from avoiding the negative aspects of the COVID-19 virus.
