Forfar v BSC wont be happening. From what the club are telling me that fixture had been agreed prior to the latest guidance.

As many have mentioned on here already. The biggest issue clubs face is over changing facilities. Unless the ground is fully COVID compliant, which very few are, then changing & shower facilities will remain closed and players will be expected to turn up with their playing kit on and depart after the game without showering. Unless social distancing measures are relaxed or Hub stadiums can be used it’s very difficult to see how any league below the Premiership can start. Even premiership clubs are struggling with this. Hamilton Accies have had to convert hospitality suites into away changing rooms and Dundee United cannot provide shower facilities.

Hope so. Nothing is ever guaranteed. Not in this league but I would be hoping for another top 4 finish this season.

Absolutely chuffed with this. Arguably our biggest ever signing. Certainly the biggest since Ross McMillan. We have a good balance between youth and experience in the squad this season IMO.

This is probably true but they won’t be the first or last club to have that claim levelled at them. It all adds to the fabric of the game at this level and to my own enjoyment. Just can’t wait for it all to start.

Makes sense. I struggle to understand why teams are so keen to start training now when the earliest league start we can expect is early October. End of August seems reasonable to me.

In all seriousness I’m just disappointed we couldn’t make it an all Lowland League final. That would shut up some of the downstairs neighbours for a bit.
