  1. It’s getting boring now. The fantasy of who you think I am is far more interesting than reality. Who’s going on the attack when your the one pushing to discover my identity?
  2. I do like think of myself as more than just a humble BSC fan. The fact I have some knowledge on human nature and how deals are done, relationships are built and can quite as easily be destroyed, it all makes sense really.
  3. Not sure what any of that means, buts it’s clear if anyone disagrees with your position then they aren’t entitled to an opinion in your eyes. It really is tiresome. I’ve tried to have a reasoned debate with you but really I’ve came to the conclusion it’s a waste of time. The notion that one club, one newspaper or one keyboard warrior has the right to tell everyone else what they should think or how they should act is abhorrent to me. You like Dalbeattie Star and their manager have displayed a complete lack of respect and deserve to be ignored.
  4. Certainly did. They should be going through the proper channels not embarrassing themselves and the league they represent by greetin on social media, in the papers and to the FM. Pretty sure the complete lack of respect shown to the LL board and the other member clubs won't go down well. They've burnt some bridges over the last few days thats for sure.
  5. Other sources. Teams using dressing rooms despite not being approved. Committee using indoor areas with little or no social distancing, providing hospitality, shaking hands etc. Also, many (not all) of the grounds below tier 5 are of a lesser standard making it harder to follow protocols. Anyone can be asymptomatic what do we do hide under the bed until it all goes away? Even the top medical experts on this forum will tell you this is not a virus that is going away. At some point we will need to live with it and move on. Is that going to be 3 weeks, 3 months, 3 years? Right now people are claiming this new London strain is the reason for shutting everything down so what do we do 6 weeks from now when a new South African strain makes an appearance? As I said earlier their are 17 teams in LL let’s go with what the majority want.
  6. Sorry Burnieman don’t know what happened there. I’m on my mobile.
  7. Perhaps your right then. Perhaps teams at that level should stop. If they are incapable of sticking to the protocols laid down by the governing body and the league is struggling to ensure its members comply then yeah, shut them down. I did misunderstand I thought you were talking about teams in the Lowland league.
  8. I’m not aware of any teams in the Lowland League having to self isolate. Doesn’t sound as though the health board concerned is following the correct guidelines either. The clock starts on self isolation from the moment an individual tests positive and that duration is 10 days. If this is happening elsewhere (I’m not questioning you by the way) then I agree it needs to be dealt with. I’m not unsympathetic to the older committee members who are in the at risk category but the situation is the same as it was when they all decided to start the season, we’re in the midst of a pandemic with no guarantees when things will improve. Ultimately each individual needs to make decisions for themselves and stop relying on someone else to make that decision for them.
  9. I don’t think I am. In fact I have no idea how you got there. They’re are 17 teams in the Lowland League. We’ve heard from 1 and all of a sudden everyone wants football stopped. Perhaps we should consider what everyone wants before making a decision. I’m pretty sure all the epidemiologists posting on this subject will be able to explain why me and everyone else who wants the game to continue are wrong.
  10. There is no proof a 3 week pause would flatten a curve and as far as football at this level is concerned I’m not sure there is a curve to flatten. However if there is data to support it then great I’m convinced. From the health care professionals I have spoken to the biggest single risk for the spread of the virus at the moment is supermarkets. I think the reason SG and their advisers aren’t paying any attention to the game at this level is simply down to what they have assessed the risk levels to be. I agree it’s tough for those who don’t wish to play but why should we only be focusing on them? What about the players who do want to play?
  11. I get it. I really do and to be honest with you my views are probably formed out of self interest. I’ve been stuck at home since the middle of March and the only thing preserving my sanity is watching the live streaming of LL games. Take that away and insanity will surely follow.
  12. Possibly but you'll need to excuse my scepticism.
  13. I saw the Dalbeattie managers rant on social media and thought it was sheer hypocrisy. Clubs in the LL have been consulted with and given options to withdraw without punishment. In each and every occasion, league, Scottish Cup (except Gretna), South Challenge. Clubs have rejected that option. Now that everyone has received a chunk of money from the Government and the league have removed the option to withdraw, so relegation is a real possibility, certain teams aren't happy. Perhaps if clubs actually grew a pair and made decisions when they had the chance, like some of the WoS clubs did before the season started. Instead they want someone else to make the decision for them. I suppose its easier to blame the sfa though.
  14. I agree. I've been luck with the boys at BSC streaming most of the games so far. But as good as that has been, it just isn't the same. I'm desperate to get back.
  15. I’m actually thinking it may work the other way. You, us, Bonnyrigg and East Stirlingshire all more than capable of taking points off Kelty and each other. Add to the mix Gala, Bo’ness, Civil Service and Spartans who are all very capable and you have enough quality to make this a really open title race.
  16. It’s a shame. But knowing EK as I do, not that surprising. 2 very closely matched teams. Games between these 2 will be fascinating this season.
  17. I certainly hope so. The stand out so far for me out of our loan signings has been Darren Christie from Pollock. He’s been excellent.
  18. Either way he's most welcome
  19. Judging by the size of Leishman, nothing mini about it. Its nothing new we've had 3 or 4 players on loan from St Johnstone in the past. Its probably down to the links the manager has from his time playing and managing in the juniors.
  20. Sounds a reasonable explanation. I'm just curious as to how they go about proving something like that. Its one of those he said she said scenarios. Probably a box checking exercise and won't go any further.
  21. There's 3 charges against him Gino so its serious enough. Like you I watched the highlights and it looked like a straightforward win for Penicuik. Nothing controversial. It's just unusual to see them bring their own up on charges, especially at this level.
  22. Anyone know what this is all about? Not often you see a referee up on charges. They usually look after their own.
  23. Agreed correct decision. The whole reason for allowing clubs to withdraw was due to the financial uncertainty created by having to play behind closed doors. With the government pay outs that uncertainty has been removed.
