  1. Honestly, if we f**k up from here, there’s no hope.

Luckily, we’ve got the best squad & manager for a generation or more, I hate to tempt fate, but we are winning this group.

I’m loving Scotland under SSC, there’s a wee swagger about the team & as Norway game proved, we aren’t defeated until the final whistle.

There is a chance the next 5 days might be euphoric for Scotland & for once, it would not surprise me.

Priority - scudding Cyprus, the win against England a wee bonus.

    Check that table! Delicious.

The mental gymnastics are quite something from the 'decent' fans of said club.

Yeah, I just don’t get it. When they were on “the journey” every lower league club was exposed to the bile & vitriol.

The anti-catholic songs & sentiments  aren’t just saved for (perceived) catholic clubs, no! We all had to endure that pish, I remember at the time, excuses being made that the away support tended to be more militant than the home support. Bullshit!

If either club wanted to, they’d be rid of the wanks in the crowd immediately, the fact is, they need them, it’s sickening & a blight on our game.

Delving into the club dedicated sites is just going to make you feel awful about Scottish Society.

    Both equally guilty IMO.

And 99% of them are gloryhunters who ignore their local SPFL club and support Rangers because it makes them feel better about their own shite lives when they win 80% plus of their domestic games.

Imagine basing your whole personality, your whole mood, whether you're delighted or raging, on how your football team did at the weekend.

When The Caley lose, which is a lot at the moment as we're fucking dogshit, I'm annoyed for about 6 minutes then I forget about it.

^^^ Doesn’t feel strongly enough about the rise of Pars in Scottish society IMO.

  4. Hoping for an early goal to settle the nerves, this squad are certainly good enough to get the job done. I’m just hoping the occasion doesn’t get to them.

We’ve got 3 tough games after this one in the group, it would be fantastic to be going into them on maximum points.

I’m another hoping for Georgia to get 2 draws in their double header.

No idea what game you were watching Jinky but it had feck all to do with CCV not playing the rat got it wrong,Killie players bullying Celtic players all over the park plus I thought we should've got a pen at the end,the rat said he watched the sevco game against Killie so he knew before the match the game was going to be phyicial and he played right into it.
I said before this game we are not upto to speed yet for me that's down to the rat tae,the season has started and Celtic look about a month off it.

    Tears, delicious tears.

    Budget- Astronomical

    Manager- Best in the land

    Support- Best in the world

    Result - 1-0 Killie.

As for Rodgers mentioning the pitch, Celtic scored 9 goals on that pitch last year, some neck.

Killie just wanted it more than Celtic, which I’m sure Rodgers will turn around as soon as the CL draw comes out, nah, budget will be the difference when youse get humped every fortnight.

I know it’s not a great gauge, but currently top ranked Brighton player on player rater for today, considering March has scored two, it’s fairly impressive, hope he makes his shift at BK later.

  7. Like most people on here, I’m excited at the potential of Doak, looks like he could be truly world class if he stays on the same trajectory. But, also like MOST people, I’m not that fussed that he be called up in the next squad.

What I can’t see though, is any downside if he is called up, there is none IMO, settling in with a group of players & management team is very important, especially in someone so young, it can’t possibly do him any harm, and the the further he is kept away from Scotland Gemmell the better.

  8. Not enough to fit into the RTBC thread, but just those little things that give you a brief moment of thought that the world isn’t as bad as it was 20 seconds ago.

The swirl of white pepper on the surface of your hot Bovril on a cold day at the football.

Steam rising from tarmac during a summer rain shower.

First pint on your own in a pub you seldom frequent, although that might be a RTBC...

What prompted this was I saw two kids walking their dog in the park earlier & after the dog shat, the kids fastidiously picked it up in a bag & went directly to the dog waste bin, no parents were there & the kids were probably 11 & 8. They’ve been taught correctly.

So, what’s the little things that you appreciate?
