  1. Brechin gotta truly be boakin now , not good but it is what it is , Beith looking like west of Scotland winners and can't go up either , Gateshead in England as well so Buckie not alone in meeting criteria for promotion but what would it take to get them there ??

Another we'd love to keep but he's a full time player as clear as day.

We've proven a great development environment for loan players so likely we'll see quite a few next season too.

Aye he's fair turned out a decent signing , tell you what Tidser hasn't got many if any wrong in the loan market , even McKay looks as though he's enjoying himself , just young McAllister that's not really worked out but still a very young lad

Absolutely buzzing for Saturday , how the fek are we even in with a sniff of the playoffs ???? defo would've taken this at the start of the season , even if we  miss out it's been a great effort from Tidser , coaching staff and the team

Hopefully a decent crowd shows up as the boys deserve it and still something to play for , just need us to win last two games and QoS to pump Cove and Montrose , what can go wrong 😁😁

How's McPake been overall for you guys? Heard he may be a target for us if you end up going down (noted a big if there). Seemed quiet at NCP last week?

Wouldn't be that fussed for him coming after last weeks display , they tried him down our right wing  doubling up at times  and McKluskey wasn't phased in the slightest and he  netted our goal so no tracking back from Mcpake either , on another note was having a blether with the subs warming up as well and none of them could actually remember if they'd won a game since we got pumped 5-0 🤷‍♂️

You have to wonder a demoted SPFL club will ever make the return journey, and whether the SPFL will ever realise that blocking automatic promotion from tier 5 actually makes it more difficult.

Totally agree with automatic promotion from tier 5 but Brechin were one of the instigators in how it is currently set up to be fair

£650k is close to what we were told a couple of weeks ago.

End of the day every single club without doubt would welcome that sort of investment so no point in being the jealous type just is what it is at every level of football

    Well done East Kilbride

  6. For what it's worth you guys were resigned to playoffs a month or so ago but to still be in with a chance of surviving has been some turnaround , remaining fixtures are tough though as Stenny will be looking for some form of atonement for that humping you gave them , Dick will have EF pumped as usual except yesterday when I had them on my coupon 🤷‍♂️, think you'll take care of Elgin so anything from the other two games would be welcome I'm sure , anyway all the best as met a few good lads in the social club last year

  7. Only good bit of play the whole game resulted in the goal , weather was a bit mental and played a major part in the spectacular event we all just witnessed , Stirling looked threatening first 10/15 but then we got into the game and I'd like to say probably just deserved it but probably just biased to be fair , great 3 points for us , could we make the promotion playoffs , could we ??

    🤣🤣🤣

    Brilliant 👏 👏

I started off at old Annfield in 1973 right through to Forthbank at present

Players like George Young in goals..Matty Mcphee...Rab Duffin...Billy Steele.....Micky Lawson...Stewart Carr were my 1st memories...I was a bino from that day

The stand behind the goals..the wooden pie hut going on fire several times a season...I've still got the scar from a rocket fuelled temperature bovril (aka oxo cube) the red ash around the outside...red railings...Neil Diamond over the tannoy system (better than the present one at Forthbank) the clubhouse & changing rooms.... Bob Shankly as manager 🤣

    Being a ball boy ⚽️

Brilliant times...wouldn't change any of it...seen some great players & goalscorers.... Steele...Colquhoun..Brogan...Watters...Snodgrass...Carrick are all different but fantastic service to the club 👏

Great times under Alex Smith..... Allan Moore was brilliant for us.... laterally & presently Darren Young

What's not to love about your local boyhood teams whoever they are

    Bino's for me always 🇵🇪 💪

    Class post neeb

  9. I just love watching us , win, lose or draw (no so much losing) , walking into our tidy wee ground which from 40 year ago when I went to my first Kelty game is a world apart but the feelings still the same, from watching boys your dad would be having pints with in the club to watching what we have now still gives me the same buzz on a Saturday , put your hand out and you can touch the players and as often seen in the good old days supporters sticking their legs through the railings to trip a player up awe the banter , you can stick the so called big teams up your erse for me 😂😂

attendance wise we hold our own in this league even with the inevitable drop off from the end of last season. we're 4th in average home attendances behind Falkirk, Hamilton and QOS and second in average away attendances (which either indicates an above average travelling support or everyone wanting to go and watch when the Binos come)

i don't think it's unreasonable for us to want League One to be our natural level.

i don't see Milne starting. he was definitely one of Darren Young's favourites earlier in the season but he seems to be on a shorter leash now. Leitch will no doubt start as he always seems to when fit. Cooper never seems to get the same trust.

its not that they are bad players. i just think they are not being put in positions to succeed. Both are too slow to chase and harry. Milne knows it and his solution is to hold off and not press too aggressively and get done for pace. Leitch has a propensity for diving in and making late tackles simply because he's too slow to get there in time . they are both better players with the ball than without and we just have far too many of them.

Attendance wise Stirling quite rightly should be top 4 as is a City after all but with draw of the old firm just along the road it surely effects you guys a lot , I know it effects us at Kelty knowing of at least a good  hundred and more  leaving our village every other week to watch them , just wished folk would watch their local teams as would produce more wealth where it's really needed

  11. Last nights session meant a 4 hour round trip in a motor was not on the cards for me the day but by Christ what a result , fantastic 3 points and other results going our way as well , Indian on its way hair o the dug in hand apart from feeling like my heads been hit by a sledgehammer what a day

    Mon Kelty
