We were much better in the 2nd half, McManus and Dixon were the pick of the bunch, Sammon also did well when he came on and for me is a much better footballer than McMillan, who was particularly awful today. Dumbarton offered up absolutely nothing.

IMO the best 2 periods of play since M+M took over have been the 2nd half v Raith (with 10men) and the 15-20mins in the 2nd half yesterday after we switched to 4 at the back. We need to ditch this 3/5 at the back ASAP, we simply do not have the players for it, Buchanan and Durnan are not great (Durnan especially) but the biggest issue with this formation is our full/wing backs are not up to the job, Doyle seem absolutely incapable of beating a man and Dixon is a disaster waiting to happen, he goes flying into challenges like a naive 18 year old debutant, as soon as we had 2 wingers on the pitch we stared to play a bit.

i agree with a lot of your post, I too didn't think GD comments came across as bad as they read, i never thought twice about them at the time. i thought he answered questions pretty well and certainly comes across better than AT. On KJ, their was just a many people urging him to continue with his findings on MC than not, i would guess they people who were moaning were the same people fawning over MC on twitter and possibly feel they got duped along with the BOD, he was making Lex squirm in his seat and there probably wasn't enough of that last night. it's good news AT has gone and Lex has at least stepped back from the chair and i suppose we as fans will have to see what this new boards does, my main problem with this is we still have SA and MR pulling the strings from the shadows and therefore this won't be any different than before. There was a brief mention of reevaluating the role of the MSG, ideally i would like to see them give up some of their voting rights, if there is not going to be any sale we have to get to the point where ordinary shareholders vote may actually mean something because if we just have the same 5 or 6 guys picking the BOD we are doomed to fail IMO.

Ur possibly correct on that but KB would have been the only patron handing them straight over to a BOD member, his pledge to BTB seemed specifically only to gain info to hand over to Lex, if it wasn't, why would he pull his pledge? I hope KB makes some sort of statement tonight as i would like to know who was physically threatening towards him, for all Lex is a bumbling idiot he isn't the type to be dishing out physical threats....that's a pretty serious accusation.

i think it refers to a board meeting after the Airdrie game where Mckinnon nearly got sacked, (the one where AT apparently said "f**k the fans") the details of which were rumored to have been leaked by either him or a member of his family.

Not got that much sympathy for KB tbh, he only "earned" his place on the BOD after being Lexs mole in the patron group, passing all emails from KJ to the patrons group onto Lex and then pulling his BTB patron pledge days before being announced as a director.

Good maths there, impressive stuff indeed.

You are more than likely correct however a new path has to be taken as i dont think the current incumbents are going anywhere anytime soon.

according to a director I spoke to, JP has been working with the board directly and its possible he may well be our new director of Football and that MC had him duped along with everyone else.
