  1. i here MC is claiming he is also involved somehow, no idea in what capacity, ETA - i see hes been with Luton for less than a month
  2. They may have only recently found out about the bankruptcy, which would make a mockery of the clubs DD thats it taken this long.
  3. Oooft, Bankrupt eh, wonder if he ever revealed that to the MSG, thank god we have people/fans willing to carry out a proper DD.
  4. Your right i can imagine it will be a long process but it was MC who put the timescale of "end of Aug" then it was "couple of weeks away" at the Forfar game and then yesterday " a few weeks away" and as we don't get much updates from the club people can only go with what he's saying. Nothing is going to happen overnight, as others mentioned there will prob have to be a EGM before any sale goes through, i can see this dragging out for at least another couple of months, that is unless he get's shown the door before then.
  5. The win on Sat was not hard work, the team absolutely strolled it, i agree we missed a couple of sitters, but credit where its due, we all wanted the team to be a bit more adventurous, and over the last 2 weeks we have seen that, we all wanted away from that narrow diamond p**h and over the last 2 weeks we have seen that.
  6. your now reduced to moaning that we didn't win 8-0, things cant be that bad ffs. I'm not a massive fan of his but we just won the last two games 3-0 and Saturdays performance was a very attacking one and I'm now confident going into the next two games.
  7. Agreed, if we somehow manage to get two wins from our next 2 games, thats 20points from the 1st round of matches, which is title winning form.
  8. Would much rather Telfer or Tidser next to Gomis if we are keeping the 442, dont think Mcshane brings much to the party. Just really dont want to go back to the narrow pish for an away game.
  9. Telfer and Tidser doubts for tomorrow, cud be a Gomis McShane midfield pairing, which dosent fill me with confidence.
  10. There is more than one way to rake up debt, he could borrow against what the club does own, also he would be able to borrow against a business plan, to build a hotel for example or you can rake up debt to your suppliers you have a line of credit with and when it all get to much do a runner (which by the look of it MC has a history of doing). Not sure where you got the 10M figure from but it would surely be possible to build a significant amount of debt. Obviously we have no idea if this is his grand plan(we can only hope its not) but it is certainly justified to have concerns about it.
  11. Nobody will ever convince me that the club would be in safer hands with MC than it would with the fans. It may take 3/4 years but IMO he will eventually piss off and leave us in the lurch, probably with a mountain of debt for future owners to service. This guy inst a fan, he hasn't ever been involved in football, he is only in it for 1 reason, and the fact he cant even admit that makes it even more worrying. I really didn't want our club to go down this route but as it now looks more than likely its going to happen i can only hope for the best but TBH i will still be expecting the worst.
  12. and Scott Davidson, who also pulled his bid after being delayed by the MSG multiple times.
  13. remember the BtB bid involved the Current MSG diluting their shares so SA, MR for example would still be there, but taking your example scenario, if 200K needed to be raised quickly between 30 odd people/businesses, i couldn't see that being a problem, only taking 5-6K each.
  14. So Mcbride is involved in the MC bid aswell, another red flag IMO.
  15. I would be putting McMillan straight in, as you said we are struggling for goals and he might just be the answer. If we don't get the win it's going to be pretty hostile for Ray at full time.
  16. Ifs thats true, the money MC was offering must have been the deciding factor for them.
  17. As metal as it is The Major shareholder Group did cite it as a reason to the BtB guys. There are people within the club who dont want the fans in under any circumstances, as for their reasons, i have no idea. Im assuming the MC bid was very impressive on paper as was his presentaion, and im sure the BtB one would have been a bit more realistic, its easy to promise the world but more difficult to actually deliver it.
  18. yes, some 16 year olds let down lex Millers tyres on the last game of last season therefore the full fan base cannot be trusted....if it wasn't this there would be some other ridiculous reason.
  19. I was in favour of giving him a few more games, possibly until after the 1st round of games, however after watching us against the team that is being billed s our biggest rivals to the title on Sat i now want shot of him, Raith Rovers were faster, stronger and in general just looked a better team than us, I still actually think he could get us promoted but even if he did I wouldnt want him leading us into a championship season. I also can't see anything changing until either the MC takeover goes though or its announced that its a dead deal, so we may have to put up with him for a bit longer.
  20. i would think (if he is trying to fleece us) the land around the stadium will be what he is most interested in, not sure what or how much the club owns right enough.
