So your moaning that we aren't letting punters in for free or a donation in a bucket for meaningless training games but are saying we shouldn't be trying to encourage fans to come to games by letting kids in free and adults at a reduced rate for a tournament that if we do well in will directly impact on the playing budget I don't get your logic to be honest -

Because you still need to pay for stewarding, police, staff to run food kiosks, turnstiles etc would be great just to let folk in to watch for free but it's not feasible. -

Don't know if we will see any signings tomorrow but maybe a few trialists will be in the squad and give us an idea who we are after. -

Anyone know if the open day will be on this year, I know we haven't had much luck with it weather wise but hope the club don't write it off as a bad idea. -

Would be amazing to get that amount in I'd assume we would be looking for at least 3 loans including Doohan. -

Adding Erskine, Doohan and other winger/forward and I'd be very happy with the squad. I think we could push for top half again, could we do with another RB maybe but we have Ferguson, Geggan and Doc who can play RB at a push. -

Why would you want a keeper who potential can't play at least 3 maybe 4 games against his parent club makes little sence. -

Read that some of Celtics squad are coming back from their camp early for more of the established international players to join up if Doohan come back would be a good sign for us doubt he will sign up before Tuesday. -

Did in say he was better that them no, I said naysmith was getting older and has only scored 26 goals in his last 5 seasons and is very injury prone, Cosgrove is your old fashioned no 9 and completed different to Shankland and actually I think they would make a good front two, I have watched Shankland week in and week out for 2 years I know how good he could be and don't just take my word for it Ian MCall says he has the most potential and had the most impact big any player he has signed he's better that Dundee United and he doesn't care about the money as much as folk would think. -

What happens when the new owners bgt fed up of pumping money into a championship club Shankland and Smith are not going to win the league themselves and Neilson has only had success when Craig Levine base been their to tell him what to do. -

Brophy did you see him against Cyprus? Naysmith is no spring chicken any more and has not been a prolific scorer for years Cosgrove is a completely different type of player who has one good season, look I'm not ashamed to admit I'm biased but I just don't see him going to Tannidice. -

He may do and this is in way in disrespect to Dundee United but he can do so much better for himself he should be playing at very least top for a top 6 Scottish premiership League team or an English championship team, I just don't see United as a fit don't rate Neilson and think he will ruin him plus it's a lack of ambition he's have been as well staying with us you guys might romp this league but you have thought that the last 3 seasons are are still trying to get back up, have said for a year he goes to the correct club this season the will be in the Scotland squad before end of season 19/20 if he signs for United that won't happen -

Shankland has already stated it's not the money he is interested in it's playing time and career progression don't be surprised if he ends up signing for a team that offered less than Dundee United -

At the end of the day we haven't been in the top flight in my lifetime and I'm no spring chicken any more, any person who thinks we should be challenging for promotion every season at the moment is overly optimistic last season was great and hopefully we are there and thereabouts in the fight for playoffs but we need to establish ourselves in the championship we can't continue being a yo yo team to me that's the priority just now let's stay here play good football hopefully unearth some more McCowans, Shanklands and Roses and if we have a great season who knows whare we end up. -

Unfortunately we don't have a sugar daddy willing to pump endless money into the club only one who might is Calvin Ayre and I don't think that we would want him in control, only way Ayr will ever get a big whack of money is by development of players and selling them on who knows one day Ecrepoint or McCowan might be sold for a few hundred thousand.
