Would we love to win the league yes are we likely to no the days of us signings Gary Teals, Andy Walkers, Pat McGinnlys are long gone we are trying to develop young players who may move on for some money and who knows maybe take us up allong the way, the vast majority of our fans at the moment will be happy just to stop yo yoing between the championship and league one it's not reveling in failure it's being realistic.

They may have more money but that in my opinion does not make them a bigger club I'm no fan of hearts by any stretch of the imagination but they are a bigger club than a fair percentage of League One teams down south

Yes and no decent season could see him get a move to hearts or some one like that, maybe I'm biased on Scottish teams but I'd say moving from a English League 2 team to a Scottish Premier League team is a step up even if they have a crappy fan base, will be interesting to see how he's come on when we play livi in the cip

Good going forward wasn't quite as good defensively but may have improved that part of his game down south was Walsall's players player of the season, will give 110% every game and will likely become a fan favourite.

Yeah Ferguson's is still with us looked ok in league one for us but didn't get a sniff last season and was loaned out to Dumbarton for the 2nd half of the season and apparently did well., big season for him to see if he can become a first team regular

100% this love Shankland and thankful all he did for us over the last 2 seasons but he's no longer our player will I keep an eye out to see if he's scoring for his new club defo and hope he really kicks on but I really don't care who he signs for I'm more concerned who will be playing for us next season, the club is bigger than one player.

Why would Ayr care where Shankland ends up he's not contracted to us we are due no development fee McCall or the Ayr board have no influence in the matter so why would we "let the dust settle", I'll eat my hat if he ends up at Tannidice and yes Dundee Utd are a big club in Scotland but he's been linked with Rangers, Celtic, Sunderland, Notts Forrest, Portsmouth, Swansea etc on the grand scale of things these are far bigger clubs

If you believe the leaked Celtic transfer documents Dorus De Vries is out and Craig Gordon most likely too, so that would leave Celtic with just Scott Bain, Conner Hazzard And Ross Doohan on the books unless they sign at least one other keeper it's looking unlikely Ross will be back.

I think McCall should just let Dundee have Doolan it's not worth trying to explain to some of our supporters why our star young keeper from last season has suddenly became a 30 something target man striker

What about Doohan clean sheets are great but what's the point of a keeper who can't score

Who else did score last season? Lets be honest our tactics were get the ball to Shankland and he will score, it's going to be different next season as others will need to pitch in with goals.

We knew Shankland was leaving at the end of last season, McDaid is no big loss just look at the comments one here it's not because we are upset he's leaving it's because he's a luxury player who does not turn it on enough, we may be bottom 4 next season or we may just shock everyone again and have a right go at going up.

Ok if the TV cameras are there, on his day excellent but that's maybe 3 games out of 10 good luck to him though scored some important goals the year when we won league one.

Robbie has played 226 games for us apart from Forrest (213) who else has done that in recent history, both are still in their early 20s we should be celebrating the success of the academy not tearing down these players (not so much Forrest over the last 18 months) why would young promising players want to play for us when we an element of our fan base is on their back all the time.

Say what you like some of our best performances last season had Murdoch and Crawford in the centre midfield positions I'd rather seen him playing for us than some one like Dunfermline or Queens.
