  1. a bill that would probably never have come to light or been bothered about if folk spent less time arguing with randoms on twitter, is my take.
  2. You could be right there but I reckon if the SNP or any Scottish independence movement went into an election and got 75% Yes, something would have to give. Even the English recognise Scotland is a country, would be a tough sell to deny independence in that situation. Especially given precedent of a referendum having taken place already. Ultimately I do think it's upto the Scottish people whether we're independent, regardless of legalities. Democracy and public pressure supersedes law if the will is there. Fact is neither the Union or Independence are heavily favoured. We live in a divided nation and the SNP/Indpendence movement can't wish that away. If it was 75/25 in Yes's favour, we'd be in a very different ball game. Yousaf would call a vote tomorrow.
  3. You didn't get much kudos for this but I actually agree haha Definitely not going on a negative tangent here, im flying but whoever gave the go ahead to plan the stadium in such a lopsided stadium needs a shake. it is a shame we have a great support, big fanbase and we have an entire part of the ground's atmosphere dissipating into fresh air. im sure players would come to the navy blue regardless but it probably doesn't help attract players. i will now stop moaning about it and start looking forward to putting the wee smelly manager from Cove in his place.
  4. Morrison, Spencer, Lang, Donaldson could all take it .. in fact the whole team have been superb. I'd go Morrison as it's been a while we've had a player who looks like he puts fear into the opposition every time he has the ball.
  5. A hybrid Standing section at the side would be class . Bring back the cages At the beginning, we didn't envisage not competing the stadium by 2025 eh! Does it ever get discussed at board level? I presume weve just been too concerned about staying afloat last few years Ps even if they built some offices/business units/helix stuff and fired in a few seats/standing it would at least complete it to some extent
  6. I have no idea, I just find it hard to believe for teams in our own league rather than QP. at our level our crowds will have a lot to do with it, i'd imagine. granted there are examples of unsustainable spending but thought those days were largely gone. without knowing, I can't say..
  7. I agree, getting ahead of myself but we have a great potential to push on. Falkirk is a growing place in the central belt, can imagine parents moving here want their kids to evade the old firm poison. the atmosphere has improved no end, helps when you are winning. would be great to push on and see a real move up the pack, we can but dream but would love to see the stadium get completed to improve the atmosphere further. it's the one thing that sticks in the craw, looks tinpot and ruins the atmosphere somewhat.
  8. Find that really hard to believe with their crowds but if so shows the draw of the Navy blue , were it not for money.
  9. under 12s already get a free season ticket don't they? We could send out a periodical reminder of this to the schools every month?
  10. Sorry you're right, I bet he really hates catholics. point taken.
  11. I was firmly in the "bin McGlynn" camp at the start of the season but I was so wrong and gladly eating humble pie. We were so one paced last year, it looked to me like we couldn't mix it up. The worst was the semi final, we were passing without purpose. If you look at the goals on sat...the many, beautiful goals... there's variety to our play. We can play quick, we can play patient, direct, short. That's what was missing last season for me above all.. a guile to change the pace of the game. Having Spencer, Miller and Tait in midfield has really brought out Nesbitt and Morrison's qualities. Brilliant. I'm buzzing for next year, trying to think where to improve bar the goalie!?
  12. A "self denying ordinance", that sounds like a recipe for clearing everything right up aye But does she have a Hate incident against her name? Seems zealots have complained. I wonder what mines is for F*fe hating. will need to put in a stasi request in a few months.
  13. I have a suspicion, a small one, McCoist may have been joking somewhat..... humour by pass ..
  14. effeminate? it's basically someones personality isn't it, polite society has attempted to de-gender everything apart from identity and gone the other way with it, you can't put people in boxes eh. that's a good thing.
  15. That would appear to address the main issue people are claiming to see with this law - other than it being a distraction and potentially unnecessary (Tomkins actually voted against it). See just as a wee point though, it's obviously not a hate crime but will you have a whole load of hate incidents logged against your name a la Murdo Fraser? That in itself doesn't seem right, either.
