  1. It's bloody frustrating as he's actually a good player, when he just concentrates on that.
  2. Cantwell seems to be made of crisp packets the way he gets blown over. Can't stand that type of player. If it's a foul the ref will give it, you don't need to toss yer hair and throw your arms in the air. Back in the bad old days players that did that got extra attention for being lightweights. I did enjoy hoofing wingers into the air, but that was mainly because I was totally shite at the actual football.
  3. My biggest pet hate is the subway loyal. Arrive late, leave early and cause folk to be stuck getting up and down in their seats endlessly, whilst blocking the view. If you can't wait to the final whistle, no matter the result the you are most definitely not a supporter.
  4. No. I've been a member for a long time but drifted away onto Twitter. I've given that up because I reckon Scottish Independence will die with whichever clown the SNP pick from their selection of uselessness. So no point knocking my pan in flogging that dead horse anymore. So I had a wee look back on here but I'm sure if you trawl all of posts you'll see I haven't actually changed.
  5. Occasionally, when it looks like a quieter game. They like football and support Rangers. Unlike a lot of folk I've explained what the songs are about, why they are so stupid and disgusting and created 4 decent fans for the future. How else do the decent fans get to outnumber the morons?
  6. I hadn't realised how many players Rovers were missing. In those circumstances it has to be a fairly successful day considering.
  7. No, it means I value my teeth. I call it out when I think it's safe enough but if I've got the kids with me and it's a large group I don't push my luck. If that's makes me a bigot then you're an idiot or just full of it.
  8. The bigots and morons do. I'd prefer some decent chat with folk that actually appreciate the football. Raith did well today albeit we're still totally hopeless in front of goal. Our midfield are just shot shy and it's part of the reason we don't score anywhere near as many as Celtic. That first shot would have made it very interesting if he'd pulled it off.
  9. I was talking on a personal level as opposed to the entire support. But you knew that and then proved my point.
  10. I was hoping he'd play just to see what the idiots in the crowd did when the team sheet was read out.
  11. There are a few but the pish that gets thrown at us just for daring to comment is pretty depressing. I hope it's a good game, we've gone for a strong lineup, but hopefully Rovers play well and we'll be forced to earn the win. Good luck guys (not too much mind you) and to those going I hope the rain stops and its a good one!
  12. No, I thought he was just a wee bit card shy compared to what we're used to. To be fair it made for a game with decent amount of niggle and bite.
  13. I feel a lot of the same frustration. I do what I can on a personal level but I can't change the big issues you've outlined here. But that's what folk on this thread think I should be doing. Society in general has an issue and if we resolve that we'll help fix the shite at the football. So it's down to everybody to do their bit. The decline of the OO in Scotland is a positive indicator.
  14. Ref has now found his yellow card. I can see a red coming in the final 10 minutes.
  15. Carter-Vickers was a wee bit lucky there. Could have been a red, although this ref seems quite laid back, in general, to be fair.
  16. Hatate's fouled Sibbick late there and avoided a yellow. When he's already avoided a yellow for diving. Halliday could have had 2 yellows too. Ref has forgotten his cards?
  17. Hearts have slowed the play down a bit but they're still just clinging on. Celtic should have them dead and buried by now. Hatate's dive was Boyd like.
  18. You're assuming a lot here. I do call out the bigots both here, in the ground and in everyday life. Same as I call out racists, homophobes etc. I also avoid places that big groups of bigots go, certain pubs in sure you'll have heard of, because I don't like bigotry so tend to avoid it. Other than that you're asking me to let the bigots drive me away from my team. How does that help, at all?
  19. Yes, the history of the club is as you say. Am I responsible for that? You've then said the majority at Ibrox sing horrific chants. That's just factually inaccurate. A large number do but its not the majority. You've decided we're all bigots, just for supporting a particular sports team. Your own logic changes each sentence and gets more unreasonable at the same time. And for what it's worth I agree with your last paragraph, partially. The worst element of the support has got worse since 2012. I had hoped we'd move in the other direction but the unpopular owners back then decided to go for the easy buck and pandered to the scum.
  20. Met Super Ally once when he was buying a tumble dryer. I was buying one too and thought he was lifting mine when the lad brought it through from the storeroom. Ended up helping him into his van with it. Met Bertie Auld once too. What a funny guy and what a story teller. Should have been on stage with the patter. Not as funny as Billy McNeill. Met him with Danny McGrain when I was a student. McGrain was my hero when I was a boy, I was a fullback and wanted to play like him. Nae chance of that. Billy was in WH Smiths for a book signing but I was wanting Danny McGrains autograph. Made the mistake of saying I was a Rangers supporter, which was why I wasn't buying the book and ended up getting slaughtered by Billy McNeill. He was hilarious, for everyone else, but I got both their autographs and have them tucked away next to my Rangers players from the same era. Brilliant players, hard men and genuinely nice guys.
  21. Depends on if you believe every Hearts supporter is one, no matter what. Are you really going to argue with the dictionary definition of bigotry?
  22. No, the word obscured by the swear filter makes them bigots. The obstinate or unreasonable attachment to a belief, opinion, or faction, in particular prejudice against a person or people on the basis of their membership of a particular group. That's the dictionary definition, in case you were wondering.
  23. Why would I get banned from here? Point to any post that would even get me a warning. Ask your Admins to review my posts. I think you'll find your wee theory won't hold any water.
