We're pish and also have a significant proportion of bottle merchants. The fact we clawed it back in injury time whilst being this bad only further proves my point.

I came here just to post this.

Immensely enjoyable watch tonight. Aberdeen demonstrating that their players only ever turn up when there's no expectations on them. Total bottle merchants in every other game.

They are a very noisy lot and they generally start clean and drop to sectarian pish when something goes wrong on the pitch. Which is every game at the minute. I'd dearly love them to clean up their act but I'm afraid it's probably not likely.

Call me Sherlock but I detect a man who is not getting his loan extended or bought. He could be a good player but just makes too many mistakes.

That's what has triggered the reaction. He's changed his stance. That and he now seems more in tune with the old Celtic mantra of "never defeated, always cheated". Some Celtic managers needed 3 shoulders for all the chips they had to carry. Football managers in general are paranoid nutters and Ange started off completely different. The fact he's drifting into that territory now is depressing. It's either the press or the club affecting him (or combo of both) but he has changed his tune.

He was weird. He actually seemed to believe they were out to get us. Didn't have any time for his antics to be fair. Maybe he was a better actor than Ange? The refs may be poor but they most certainly are not biased.

I like Postecoglu, in general. He's got a football style that's clear and he sticks to it. He'll never be successful in Europe with Celtic but he'll do well domestically. Rangers need to improve the squad a bit to be able to maintain a league challenge but our first 11 can match Celtic already so that's not a problem. The recent rant by Postecoglu on the penalties and VAR show a bit of a change in his attitude though. Not sure if he's starting to believe the "it's a conspiracy" shite or if he's just using it to get the fans wound up after their pish performance at Ibrox. The league is his to throw away but sliding towards a full Keegan most certainly won't help. Maybe the title of the thread is the wrong way round now.

After going down so early I was pleased and not a little surprised by our comeback. Definitely the better team in the second half but Celtic always press late on, so we really should have managed the end of the game better. Think this should give the Rangers players a confidence boost and they've got to target winning the cups now and see what happens with Celtic in the league. Realistically it's Celtic's title to throw away but it's been done before.

Another class player that I watched in the flesh, and booed regularly. A fabulously talented player. RIP.

Just because a lie is repeated often, it doesn't suddenly become true. If Rangers are being favoured by VAR and thebl officials then they're doing a particularly shite job at it.

Agree about Goodwin but the rest is paranoid pish. The teams who spend most time in the opposition box benefit the most from VAR. That's basic logic.

I think this games proves 2 things. Aberdeen are far better going forward than sitting in. They scored 2 crackers but missed at least 3 easier chances. Rangers are still pish at the back. Young Devine is definitely not going to be good enough for the OF game but we are improving. Unless Celtic suddenly have a form dip we are going to be struggling against them.

With Leipzig I just meant their Bundesliga performance. They're not as good this season as last. The Empirical evidence is clear. Rangers have been utterly appalling in the group stage. We've had injuries and poor form but the 7-1 just should not have happened. But Celtic have flattered to deceive. Sure they attack a lot but it's gotten them nothing.

Do you really believe Celtic have had a good CL campaign? In a group with a Shaktar team that's lost at least 7 Brazilians and can't play at home, Leipzig who are performing worse this season than last and were beaten by Rangers? Any defeat against Madrid is excusable.

Personally I'd say any Scottish team against Madrid or any of the super rich clubs can be excused. It's pretty much impossible to compete. And yes, I know it's reversed in Scotland for the OF. It's just being realistic.

Ive watched a couple of Bayerns league games recently and they aren't firing on all cylinders yet. Or maybe aren't quite the same team this season. Still a great side but looked to be struggling to break down defences that Sat in.
