  1. When does big Tonks contract expire? What a find he is btw, excellent attitude and he looks like he loves playing for us! Fingers crossed we can keep hold of him.
  2. No at all! With Anderson and Baird added to the Rovers squad and a fully fit Vaughan back you lot won't be far away! Of course we've enjoyed the last few weeks and rightly so but making the play offs is the target and I think if we keep injuries to the minimum we have a good chance!
  3. There is no easy games! I've been following East Fife long enough to know not to disrespect our opponents as we just just don't know what lies around the corner! It's a long season and hopefully we can keep the injuries to a minimum and take it one game at a time in our quest to make the play offs!
  4. Clyde 2 Stranraer 1 Dumbarton 1 Airdrie 1 Falkirk 3 Forfar 0 Montrose 1 East Fife 1 Raith 3 Peterhead 1
  5. Poor start from Montrose and I was expecting better from them and now we're top of the league I'm sure they will want to bring us down a peg or two! Never an easy game but we can take great confidence from our last 3 games! Any win will do as per but again a point away from home won't be sniffed at! One game at a time they say! Our players look like their having a blast and long may it continue! Mon the Fife
  6. My dad was pretty strict with us when we were bairns but in his defence he would arm us with a drill, saw or whatever tools we needed to remove the no ball game signs from our scheme pretty much as soon as the council left after putting them up! Our neighbor's gave us their full support too! The streets are like ghost towns these days compared to even 25 years ago, bairns playing their games consoles or farting about on social media in the comfort of their own home or getting stoned, pissed or fat from eating too much shit! Changed days indeed! A mass clearout needed from the very top at the SFA before we see any improvements! Sad times for Scottish fitbaw and I don't see it getting better anytime soon. [emoji85]
  7. Jamie Insall, considering he's long gone from East Fife probably not very appropriate in hindsight but hey hoo. I'm sure he's signed for Connahs Quay after his recent ban for failing a drug test (Cocaine)
  8. Oh i see, so big clubs just plod along with a hopeless manager and hope for the best? I understand now. Should easily walk this league with 100 plus points they say...
  9. If you can't afford to sack a hopeless manager what chances do you have of poaching Young from us? Good luck [emoji1787][emoji1787][emoji1787]
  10. Mind a few months back when John Mglynn was appointed manager of you lot, he was seen as a saviour, a proper hero! Now half yer support want rid after getting pumped silly by us! Sit yer arse down and shut yer puss
  11. Dry yer eyes! Nice to see Hendry back on form today after being rested last week....[emoji1787]
  12. Still one of my favourite East Fife photos! Very pleasing to be up here! I'll enjoy it whilst it lasts! Mon the Fife
  13. Get Dowds on a 5 year year contract! What a find
  14. We must approach this game with caution and not get our hopes up! Raiths defence was abysmal on Sat and Forfar will without doubt give us a better game! Confidence is high (understandable) but the amount of times I've seen East Fife follow up a brilliant win with a defeat the following game means I'd happily take a point! I don't mean to be negative but this game can go either way imo and Forfar will be hoping for an improvement on their last game. 3.0 East Fife
  15. Expecting a much tougher test than our last 2 games, I wouldn't be disappointed with a point here I suppose. Always a tough game when we play Forfar, hopefully we take a decent support to Station park and play our part in trying to get the 3 points. Mon the Fife
  16. 13th August 1995 we played Man U, I remember the excitement and the stadium was packed, Man U winning 4.0 in front of 5,385 supporters according to Wikipedia. An unknown youngster called David Beckham scoring a brace, I wonder what happened to him? I've no idea how they managed to fit in another 15,000 plus for the record attendance at old Bayview. How I miss that place, a proper football ground with a decent atmosphere in the covered terracing.
  17. Tbf Falkirk were the first team on my accumulator this week after us pumping Airdrie the week before and it should have been more! I've said from day one it wouldn't be as easy as some Falkirk fans were suggesting, 100+ points and all that chat but clearly yer manager isn't up to the task! I hope he stays a while longer all the same! [emoji482]
  18. That looked a sore one for Mathews, good luck to the guy! It's a game of football at the end o the day
  19. What a hangover btw but it was absolutely worth it! I've just been informed by my 5 year old that she's taking me to action zone followed by Leven pool, pray for me! Mon the Fife
  20. Falkirk are a shambles and long may it continue! Some of their supporters thought they would stroll this league too! Pleasing
  21. It was not that long ago that John Mcglyn was being hailed as some sort of saviour and he would have you roaring back in no time! Hypocrites. Football is a a funny old game!
