Really sorry to see him go, he was one of our best performers this season. Will be interesting to see where he plays at Stirling, he done a great job as a converted left back for us but also done pretty well in the times he was used up front at the start of the season and I always felt he could have given us some much needed presence up front had we used him in his natural position more often.

The U-20's won the North of Scotland league tonight and ok the standard of the competition doesn't look too great but it's still a good achievement and a sign of the fantastic work Robbie Hope and co are doing. Hopefully Gav will have a good look at these guys in pre season and see it he can unearth a gem or two, it seems absolutely ages ago that the likes of McHardy and Soapy broke through from the youth teams, it's about time we had a few more make the step up rather than head for HFL obscurity.

From the statement, it looks like the club are willing to listen to fan opinion on this, which is promising, I'll definitely be making my views clear to them and encourage other Elgin fans to do the same
