Enjoy another year in this cesspit

We know our level in the pyramid system.
Every other team that has dropped into the "cesspit" have bounced back within a year or two.
Partick, Pars, Raith Rovers, Airdrie have all bounced back. Your lot have becone stagnent in the cesspit.

  2. From a Mo point of view, a real game of 2 halves. Could have had a couple in the first half. Could still be playing second half and not scored yet.

Injuries and suspensions really told today so SP has a bit of work to do in the transfer window.

Bino players certainly used every trick in the book to waste time near the end.

Clear dive by Lyons and deserved his booking. He could be so much better a player if he doesn't look for a foul all the time.

  3. Not sure what team we'll be able to put out tomorrow but between suspensions, injuries and the loss of a couple of loanees, it could be pretty depleted. Maybe a chance for young Hermiston to make a name for himself. Looks like big Kerr could be out for a while so the defence is pretty threadbare. Hope SP gets busy in the transfer window or it could be a frustrating second half of the season.

Still hope for a narrow win for the Mo.

    2-1 home win.

  4. Well beaten tonight. We never looked like scoring
Accies looked like a well tuned unit and thoroughly deserved the three points. Best team I've seen this season.
Anything we might have picked up would have been a bonus. A couple of winnable games coming up to keep us in the playoff mix.

    Dust down and move on.

  5. Certainly not one for the purists. Alloa were the better team in the first half and we were fortunate to go in ahead at the break. More even second half  ut satisfying to nick one at the end after losing one last week. Big Kerr was a rock in defence but thought Gardyne ran the show. He was the only one putting his foot on the ball and trying to play a bit.

Nice to get a scrappy win over our bogey team.

  6. "Done pretty well" is the under statement of the season. We can't buy a win against you lot.
However, after a dismal start to the season, we are now putting some decent performances together. (Coincide with the departure of a certain No. 9 ???)
Painfully unlucky not to get a draw last week but, we are now playing with a lot of belief. We missed the flair of Miller Thomson last week so hopefully he is back for Saturday. Good to see the guys that have been missing through injury coming back into the mix.

Optimistic prediction that we beat our bogey team. 3-1 home win.

There was a guy in a hi vis just down from us shouting at the ball boy to slow down as well when we were winning so defo weren't at it as such.

Definitely 2 penalties, from the other side of the pitch mo's looked out the box, highlights prove otherwise.

I must admit I was a bit taken aback at the boos williamson got with his first touch, I liked the laddie previously, seemed thoroughly decent and just unfortunate with his injuries. But by the end he fully deserved the digits and get it right up ye's that were flung his way.

Ball Boys were removed at our end. Thought our pen was well outside the box but having watched the highlights,  looks like correct decision. Williamson has taken a bit of stick from our fans but he is improving the more he plays. He had a decent game yesterday.

And finally, as much as it still hurts, that was some strike worthy of winning any game.

Expected the worst yesterday and thought we were in for a thumping. Glad we put up a real fight and were just a Worldie away from a hard earned point.

I had a horrible sensation I was watching Gazza on Gary Charles when Nesbitt did that. Looked like he properly fucked his knee. Hope I'm wrong. Couldn't believe they made him walk all the way around the pitch when he was clearly in a lot of pain.

That was a horrendous challenge and could easily have been a red. As others have said, I thought Steeves (No. 3) was off.

  9. From a Montrose perspective,  gutted. Just a worldie stopped us from getting a well deserved point. Falkirk penalty looked very debatable but I was the length of the pitch away. Our penalty was a yard outside the box. However, had it been given as a free kick, you keeper would of been sent off.

Time wasting.  Quite surprised our keeper wasn't warned by the ref near the end. But, what's the thoughts on the time wasting by the Falkirk goalkeepers antics when you were 2-1 up? Oh, and the disappearance of the ball boys only for them to reappear at 2-2.

At the end of the day, we get nothing for our efforts but if we keep up the hard work like that, we'll be in the mix for a play off spot. Take it on the chin and move on to next week.

  10. Amazingly, we could be up to third in the league if we win tomorrow. After our first few games this season, I was convinced that we would be in a relegation battle. However, recent results and performances have me slightly more optimistic.

I assume that SP will start with the same team that started last week and they can put in the same level of performance. Youth and speed up front with Gardyne pulling the strings.

I'll go for a nervy 2-1 home win and an unexpected third spot in the league.

  11. We have a few injuries in defence. Not sure how they coped during the week but Andy Steeves and Dillon both went off last week with injuries and Kerr Waddle is a long termer. We have had a terrible stert to the season and our problem seems to be our midfield. They are very defensive and we don't have a playmaker who can control the middle of the field. We have potentially the best strike force in the league in McAllister and Hester but we don't have the supply that they need.
I ferar the worst, 3-1 Accies.
