  1. Seen the troops getting on there way today ( 2 Dodds buses ) expensive this travelling due to the Covid crap.
  2. That’s enough for me can’t watch that style of play and what got Kerr sacked embarrassing, and I’m not having this pitch argument not suiting our style of play or the poor refereeing, we have been s—— back to front trying to play of a punt up the park, keep this up and we’ll be in the play offs dear oh dear
  3. Don’t like this type of football terrible to watch no build up, Quite obvious Raith are here for a point and this type of hoof the play is suiting them.
  4. I’m sorry but Moff and Zanatta can’t play the number nine all the games they’ve tried it the ball just keeps coming back putting pressure on the team, hopefully Wright will get back soon but not hopefull young lad will be buzzing and he can play the nine high work rate.
  5. Quite clear by the comments the boy Mcgarva has arrived with the swagger and not produced in the training, and also going by the Barjonas comments from teams he’s been at we might have another one. Like others on here I agree it was another striker we needed badly not a midfielder so we will have to wait and see how this pans out, might still get one only Hopkin knows the answer to that.
  6. Wow what a result take a bow the whole team and Hopkin, takes a lot of pressure off and can only give the young lad McKenzie great confidence, still need another striker in for cover though.
  7. Oh dearie me that’s really depressed me now, and I am really concerned, surely they must be trying to get someone in.
  8. Don’t know how if he’s been injured since he’s come in? Is he even training.
  9. If Wright is out again he’s got to have learned from Saturday that Moff is not a number nine any more and play the boy McKenzie happy for Moff as the number 10 feeding aff him, but worried that he thought Moff played well on Saturday before he took him off.
  10. Don’t know much about him but I’d be surprised if Kyle Jacobs isnt Hopkins first signing, seems to follow him when he’s in a job from his livingstone days, he any good?
  11. Glad to see the Majority of the posters agree that Moff can’t be played as the lone striker now put a big target man beside him and two up front and we’ll reap the benefits.
  12. Always been a number10 and a great one at that, and can I say it’s not his fault managers keep playing him there as he’ll play anywhere for Ayr.
  13. You must be on something Pugs whoever you are if you think Moffat can play the number 9; no problem playing him but not there.
  14. Have to agree with that playing a Dundee team who have just got into the top four and who will want to stay there, a draw is a good result. I’m hoping Hopkin can get some people in badly need another centre forward, we can’t just go with this boy Wright Surely.
  15. As I’ve said before we have the second smallest squad in the league, surely there’s room for 2/3 to freshen things up and we’ll still be in the lower end of the league squads.
  16. If we don’t get a striker in we’re gonna struggle, how many managers does it take to tell them Moffat is not a number 9, been left ridiculously short in that area by Kerr.
  17. Can’t see Chalmers playing much for Hopkin , he said he wants his players to get about the park and play till the last kick something he’s not blessed with energy or pace.
  18. Don’t know who owns the ground now, I spoke to the guys who were doing the test boring they didn’t know either but they said this was the norm before building was done.
  19. One thing is certain with this appointment the Ayr teams will be a lot fitter than they have been, he was my choice so I’m happy and if he gets us near to his Livingston team standard well all be very happy.
  20. Wonder what the new manager will think of the size of our squad 23 players which includes Kerr away and the ever injured Moore, compared to the other squads in the league where Dundee have the biggest at 34 players and Arbroath at 22, nearly all the squads are into the high twenty’s. If we can I think we need at least another three players to compete.
  21. Happy with that as I suggested same on Saturday would be great, new manager syndrome might help us
  22. Think you’ll find they have been well rested due to there last game being off and they are a good bit younger that’s the point being made we had a game on Saturday. Moffat came on and played well on Saturday but the young boy McKenzie also did really well would have went with him, Moffat for me better coming of bench.
  23. Raith fully rested, at home, Young legs throughout the team and going really well on a fast pitch, not confident would take a draw. The new manager probably watching I’m sure the players will know might get them really going.
  24. Hopkin for me but I think a duo of McIntyre and Dodds would also be good.
