  1. Aye its a pure doddle to arrest a stand full of supporters, theres absolutely no risk that’ll result in a riot.
  2. Yes, if Bush could have scored the political capital for killing OBL that Obama did the man would have been dead as soon as they knew where he was.
  3. Barristers pay in England there. In Scotland an advocate depute working for the PF service will make around £90-£120k per year. Trainee solicitors etc make shit money but thats the same as a junior doctor, they then get paid well when they fully qualify etc.
  4. Ive never met a poor advocate. I also know a few lawyers and 45-50k for a solicitor is not bad until you’re a partner.
  5. Pretty sure what your colleague on the jury did is illegal.
  6. Ive got a lot of Indian friends, they’re mad and they hate Pakistan, I dislike Pakistan in the same way I dislike other states that openly encourage terrorism like Israel and Saudi Arabia. That they didnt know Bin Laden was a mile from their military academy is a lot of shite. Regardless though given the influence of China and USA it can’t be allowed to become all out war, despite what pressure there is from within both countries.
  7. Agree, it doesnt look good when we’ve got fans slagging off other clubs for no reason. look I disagree with how some football clubs are financed, more from a perspective that when the money disappears it puts the future of the clubs at risk, but how clubs are funded etc is more up to them.
  8. I didnt like Boston, not that much to do on the whole and the accent grinds you down. Jet blue would be your best airline choice for that trip.
  9. Baseball is too good for you . Might be able to catch a preseason basketball game, just depends. £1000 spending money would be fine, we did school of rock for £150 for two. Eat at street food places, £2 dollar pizza slices, burger stalls, go to china town for steamed buns etc, you can eat like a king pretty cheap and a bagel etc for breakfast etc, but with £1000 etc you could eat at better standard places. Just avoid the stardust diner and all that shite.
  10. Oh god I couldnt watch that, I just like the wee 10min videos, -lounge-seat-food-overall review etc couldnt be doing with 11 hours of looking out a window.
  11. He started off good but seems to just get sponsored to review things by airlines so theres never anything critical, its always the best experience he’s ever had etc. I do like some of his videos from a perspective of its an insight into cabins i’ll never get to travel in i.e. Ethihad Residence etc.
  12. Anyone ever geek out and watch airline videos on youtube? Theres a couple Dennis Bunnik and Wingin it that I watch (now that ive typed that out i feel like a geek, I just love planes [emoji15]).
  13. Couldnt make the game yesterday, but regardless, given Hurlford dont have a particularly big following i’d say the fact that Clydebank took a larger away support to Hurlford than Motherwell took to Celtic park today is pretty decent. We could sit and crowdwank all day and it wouldnt really solve any of the issues.
  14. No what I mean is by fudging it and hammering through her shite deal it makes it likely that by failing to listen that we get indy.
  15. In light of the decision to absolutely f**k over the entire democratic process by delaying brexit vote does anyone think it pushes indyref2 closer?
  16. The junior vs senior proposal is a fucking joke. One overall winner from the east vs overall winner from south and west.
  17. Prescriptions in England going up to £9, we truly would be better under a tory government.. think of all the austerity we could afford.
  18. Dont agree with the girl in anyway but at least she isnt doing that usual nonsense of lying in the media.
  19. So just to clarify you’re not a big fan of GD’s vote. Should try make that clearer next time.
  20. Can we please stop using the term ex-pat, they are immigrants.
  21. Appreciate that the sfa may have a rule saying that however that’s not legal. Every organisation has to stand up to legal scrutiny. An individual not formally connected to a club could take action.
  22. That plus means testing certain things may actually be more expensive than making them universal.
