I know he's won a major, but I can't remember a single shot, or thing that he's done. And I include the tournament he's playing in and I'm watching right now.
He's just a nothing.
I remember Clark's drive on the last hole of the US Open he won last year. A massive carve, about 60 yards right which on any other USO course would have resulted in dropped shots.
Great that Bob beat him in Rome but it was a ghost match which was barely shown.
We may be entering the Scheffler/ Clark era... zero personality between them.

The little remaining faith I had in this team and in Doolan turning this around finally evaporated after Tuesday’s dire performance.
Things are now so bad that it isn’t just the perennial disappointments like Williams and Muirhead letting us down, our best players - Lawless, McMillian and Fitzpatrick have regressed at an alarming rate. We’re mentally fragile and don’t look anywhere near fit enough to carry out the sort of intensity our manager wants us to play at.
A game against a team like Morton who love to fire the ball aggressively into the box at any given opportunity is the last thing we need. They’ll have a field day. I’m just glad I won’t be there to witness it.
Genuinely at the stage where I’m not bothered at our inevitable tumble out of the play-off positions. It would only be prolonging the inevitable.
I agree on the play off spot, which probably isn't going to happen now and would be pointless anyway. All I would say in Doolan's defence is that although we've scored a decent amount of goals, goalkeeping howlers have dogged us. Last season Sneddon and Mitchell were both competent 6-7/10 Championship keepers and this year they're both catastrophically bad, as is the wage-thief backup. I'm not sure that is on the manager and really it's what has cost us a lot of points. The defence has issues, but when you have three terrible GKs with zero form and confidence between them you will always be in bother and that will affect the rest of the team.
The glory days of Tam Černý are a distant memory and I'd welcome back free-agent Scott "beaten at the near post" Fox, things are that bad. I'm not even sure I am joking.

8 league games without a win. Fell off a cliff. Doolan hasnt a clue how to sort it. Time he was binned. 3 awful goalkeepers, dreadful defence and a non existant midfield.

Turner is really good.
All our goalies are really bad.

The question for Clarke and Shankland is, are Germany, Switzerland and Hungary's defences going to be easier to score against than Morton's?

Townsend's talent is clearly as attack coach - he has undoubtedly transformed Scotland into a potent attacking team. Trouble is they are still soft as shite overall, easily intimidated, lose concerntration for half an hour at a time, and always immediately fold under pressure. We need a scary ruthless character ideally as head coach or at least as the forwards coach. The second half at the weekend there was headless chickens stuff - no leadership on or off the field. It doesn't look to me like they believe they are winners (except for Russell, but he's not capable of instilling discipline across the team when they need it).
There is still a triple crown on offer next weekend but I can't see any reason why this team will get any more against Ireland than they did in the disgraceful no-show in the WC - we'll lose by 20+. This really is a waste of a great generation of players. They haven't even managed 2nd in the 6N under GT never mind coming close to winning it, partly because Ireland know how to nullify us and we don't have any surprises to spring. The only thing which will cheer me up slightly is if Italy beat Wales next week so the Welsh end up 0-5.

They all had totally lost the run of themselves and we're making eachother more and more excited. McIntyre was near ejaculation.
"Biscuits" squealing through an argument with angry Michael, egged on by Kenny Mac. A suitable soundtrack to activities at a CIA black site.

That was a sensational display by Scheffler. Hope he's not got the putter totally dialled otherwise it could become pretty boring
He's that rare thing - a genuinely brilliant golfer who just isn't fun to watch.
I fear this year could be a borefest with SS and Wyndham Clark winning a lot. Fingers crossed for some really bad weather at Troon.

1. We had no game this weekend.
2. Aberdeen won a game, it was a rare treat, and it was against our main rival for 4th.
3. Aberdeen are our favourite team in the league after the Buddies.
4. Things for you have been so terrible this season, poking a bit of fun as we don't get the chance very often - cause you are a big team.
1. So what?
2. It was in the cup.
3. Fair enough. I quite like them too.
4. Sadly I am not sure about that, the Jags last won a trophy in 1971 (I don't personally count the Tennents Sixes) and this season's been another mediocre plod in the second tier.

Why are 90% of posts in this thread by St Mirren fans?

Jonathan Sutherland is better at broadcasting in every single sense than Steven Thompson other than the fact he looks like a pod person from Invasion of the Body Snatchers so I can see why Thompson gets the nod tbh.

I'd quite like a manager that does aeroplane celebrations but there's no reason that has to be Lennon.
One that wins more games than they lose would be better though
What about one who does a wee half-step jig to make sure he gets a good kick at the water bottle when he's losing?

Yes. If fans alongside managers, clubs etc take that course suggested then officials will have the room to use more common sense, leniency and ultimately just to use the rules as a guide rather than the current situation where it's very much working to rule. The scrutiny they face obviously plays a massive part in how they are administering VAR.
My club team at the moment is based around who Dundee are playing next.

f**k me that numbers guys is real tiresome
I agree. The only interesting thing I have noticed about @2426255 is that they posted their first 4000 or so boring comments as a blank profile with no supported team and the anonymous numbers name, and now has suddenly declared themself an Aberdeen fan. I've had numbers on ignore for ages though so maybe there has been lots of Dandy Dons chat.
PS VAR is absolute shite and the delays are a huge step backwards in football, especially given we still get some weird decisions - it just takes 5 minutes now rather than being instant. It's not going away though.

Much as I enjoy a lot of your posts, the "WE WOULDN'T KNOW ABOUT THAT" patter is simply because we wouldn't know about that. That may well change soon, who knows, but at the moment we wouldn't know about that. Unlike you.
Known unknowns...

I'll take that as an aye, then.
You can do if you like, but you'd be completely wrong. Supporting Thistle is generally a good laugh, except when we chuck a 3-goal lead in the Premiership playoff in the last 20 mins then lose on pens of course. That was a bit shit.
Cheer up - you might still make it 12 out of the last 13 League titles despite the world's most ineffective establishment conspiracy, now wouldn't that be exciting.

The good thing about supporting a diddy team is that we are psychologically prepared to draw and (gasp!) lose league matches. Wins are savoured, not boring and routine.
That's why the Celtic fans' massive, nonsensical paranoia, astronomical entitlement, referee-blaming and calling for your board to be sacked just because you're 2 points off the top of the premiership, having won the league 11 out of the past 12 years, is really really funny.

That penalty save was part of a conspiracy against Celtic Football Club IMO.

Routine three points against Greenock.
We have no competent keeper, we're toiling badly, they have recently been on a 16 game unbeaten run - and yet we're somehow still above them.
Oh, and Big Brian Graham scores again. Chuckle.
