The national broadcaster - funded by taxpayers to provide a service - should be above that type of thing though.
I appreciate I'm preaching to the choir here.
Surely they could do both? Keep a couple of midweek Scottish Football Podcast slots for Tom English and Michael Stewart to argue over whatever nonsense they've chosen that week, but keep Saturday Sportsound for giving a bit of insight into games up and down the country.
Agree with everything you say, especially the first line as they are currently pandering to the thickest of OF fans - but to do the last thing they'd need to sack almost everyone and bring in a new group of pundits.
Failing that, they could at least tell everyone at matches to make sure they always immediately state which team has scored and the score of the match when they cut in with an update. That's the most basic thing that most of these morons seem entirely unable to do. The anchor should also spend much more time going round the grounds than is currently happening.
Lastly, "Biscuits" should not cover Hearts games every week (or if he does, his voice should not exceed a certain pitch, say 100 Hertz of Midlothians), and he should always state "I am his agent" when talking about his own players in discussions - it's such an obvious conflict of interest that he is both a national pundit and an agent.

Tam Cerny is only 38 and still in Scotland. I'm only half joking when I say I'd rather have him coaxed out of retirement and in goals for us than Sneddon or Mitchell. If he throws any in he can just have a word with the ref and get the goal chalked off.

It’s that Ark Sports tosser who was behind the PTFC Trust original takeover. He also represents Dowds and had a wee outburst about never wanting to deal with Doolan again.
Jeezo. If Mitchell or his agent has said he's downed tools then I hope he's out the club pronto with a minimal payoff this month. What a nonsense of a situation.

"Biscuits" is absolute murder to listen to.

Eh? Thought I would have been way in front of those others in my category. Gutted!
They're not in order - but your tireless, never-ending moaning and greeting in Thistle and Scotland threads (particularly the latter during a time of obvious success) may just put you bottom of the class.

Surely the Aberdeen Football Monitoring Board will get things back on track?

It was always going to be an uphill struggle today, most of the midfield injured, Dessers dessering, 60'000 celtic fans and the Sevco get help from refs narrative.
Can we claw back 8 points, imo no.
Covering all the bases there with your excuses - injuries, a scapegoat, an away tie/hostile fans, and a ref conspiracy double bluff.
Good work, although I'd have mentioned the tattie field pitch too if I were you.

It's a "Big, Big" game according to Kenny Mac.
Bonner getting angry at English saying Clement is a more serious and successful football manager than Beale - then refuses to argue his case because "we're all football people". Eh?

You stumble onto your bed later and a mystery bestockinged female is rustling about in it. Would you prefer it to be Lorraine Kelly or Jacqui Low?
I'm willing to engage in the fantasy that we're not too leggy and get 3 points in Dindee tomorrow without lingerieing. I've been stocking up on peaty malt whisky to watch this cosily at home.

Suspension over, warnings issued about future conduct
Much as I strongly dislike The Rainjurz and their media sychophants, I'm not 100% convinced by your paranoid secret suspension theory here.
(Good on Dick Gordon for the article though).

Tam has no idea who Mary Earps is. He claims.
I'm not a fan of the "Lionesses" (as they're English, they're pretty good, and the media endlessly fawns over them) and if I cared about SPOTY I'd be very annoyed Josh Kerr wasn't even nominated despite winning the World 1500m gold - but...
Tam is a boring, sexist auld dinosaur and his well-documented cringey views on women's football can be filed in the raging roaster gammon bin along with Piers Morgan, Joey Barton. and other similar morons.
(He's also lying - he must know who she is if he's read a paper or watched TV in the past week, so claiming he doesn't is pretty childish and quite pathetic).

If it's all so disappointing, maybe it would be best if "Yer DA" goes and finds a job in a league he respects -,like the wonderful fourth tier in England?
PS he has the expression of an absolute moron who is 100% convinced that he's in the right and will shout over anyone who disagrees.

That's a wee shame for Celtic FC and their fans who stand by them through thick and thin.

So I've decided that I'm going to get a new big dog probably in January since I've had my ping g20 since 2012
Had a few smacks of a few up at local range and I'm thinking of going with the cobra ( I prefer ping or cobra clubs) Anybody any recommendations
This is the bad boy I think I'm going with but open to trying loads out
https://www.americangolf.co.uk/golf-clubs/drivers/cobra-king-ltdx-golf-driver-399888.html
Can't comment on Cobra but every recent Ping driver has been outrageously good.* I have the G400 max and the G410 and they're both very long and very forgiving - G400 max probably moreso. I doubt the latest tech is significantly better but the G430 is also getting brilliant reviews.
You're going to notice a big difference from that old G20. As I'm sure you know shafts are also important as they really influence ball flight so worth get a fitting if you're buying new and trying a few.
*G425 sounded really weird when I tried a friend's - like a loud tin can but still long/straight.

I know it's not fashionable in this thread to post something positive about Tam, but I will anyway.
I helped him do a recent event in Paisley, and he received a fee for that from Renfrewshire Council, a very reasonable one at that.
He asked me to collect on his behalf and donate the lot to the St.Mirren Youth Academy.
He's a really good guy, whatever you think of his sense of humour.
So what you're saying is, he does a lot of good work for charity/good causes but doesn't like to talk about it?
Personally I still think he should have lost his licence fee funded job for the Marvin Bartley fiasco.

Do we just pretend that Kilmarnock's pitch isn't a poor pitch to play on?
I think it's more that we just point and laugh when an Old Firm fan hyperventilates about artificial pitches when their big shiny expensive team loses on one to a diddy.
Thistle lost 4-3 on Friday night against Raith. The pitch looked a bit odd on TV but it was a brilliant game of football which entertained everyone who watched it. From memory there were a few comments on the match thread about the pitch (from fans of various teams) but I don't remember many/any folk tearfully calling for a national ban.

Lol. I literally said the pitch wasn't why we lost. Try engaging your brain before jumping in with two feet next time. There's a good lad.
45 minutes ago, LuboMoravcik said:Congrats on showing that you don't understand what a sweeping statement is.
Then the league or the govering body should come up with a plan to help subsidise those clubs in need. Anyone in favour of plastic pitches are the exact type of people holding the Scottish game back.
Not only do I have a firm grasp of what sweeping statements are, I can also easily spot a Celtic fan who is so utterly spoiled by his club's ultra-boring domestic dominance that he's still seething and lashing out more than 24 hours after losing a single league game.

You are a heartless man!
I have always really liked Tony, he’s one of the players I am always rooting for and I think he always comes across as a really down to earth, good guy. He’s one of the very few players I’d be genuinely disappointed to see bugger off to LIV. If he is indeed having money issues then fair enough, I just hope he doesn’t trot out the usual pish if he does go. I’ll be fully expecting a Harold Varner esque statement from a good guy like Tony.
If Bob, Theegala or Homa jump ship I’m done with professional golf.
I've seen rumours about Hovland too - my second fave after Bob. Things are changing rapidly though. The PGA tour could be close to collapse - or a full Saudi PIF buyout - and no one knows what, if any, agreement will be reached or how many stars will jump in the meantime. Everyone has a price (except maybe Eddie Pepperell). After Rahm, who knows might go. Hatton seems very likely along with Finau.
Most people only really care about who wins the majors and the Ryder Cup (and I very much doubt any of those will fall to the Saudis). I'll always try to watch the Players and the Scottish Open too but the other events (especially on the PGA tour, with the possible exception of Bay Hill and Harbour Town) are bland. I dislike LIV, but its current loss-making form with silly events/teams may just be a placeholder. Basically we need a unified world tour and it's likely to have Saudi money behind it if it happens.
Oh, and Finau annoyed me too on the Netlfix thing. Bit too much of a goody-two-shoes God-botherer. He's still one of the more acceptable Yanks though.

Willie Collum; good guy? complete dick? corrupt? / ..and should (Old Firm) clubs "have the power to ban him"?

And thinking they can dictate who the BBC sends to Ibrox because they don't like the reporting.
All these things are concomitant with an organisation with a massive sense of entitlement and no self-awareness. You'd have thought financial collapse and liquidation would have maybe given them pause for reflection, but no. If anything, it added the same sense of victimhood their ugly sister is well known for, on top of the ugly sectarian triumphalism. Not a pleasant combination.
