Ethan has a great left foot and can pass. Defensively he is appaling. Fails to track back, doesn't close down and doesn't mark players. Looks lost when the opposition are attacking. I've seen an improvement in his work rate and attitude under Robinson but for a defensive midfielder he needs to learn how to defend (and tackle on his right side). That is just it I don't think he is a defensive midfielder. He looks a different player. He looks stronger and fitter. He is a natural centre mid player but not really defensive. His passing has improved and he links play well. We have too many similar players but no real dig or attacking options.

The more i see the Gallagher penalty the more I think its harsh. He had no chance to get his arm out the way.

Scott Allan is still without a club. Surely worth an offer. He creates chances out of nothing. The 3 we have in midfield I like but they are all to similar. Erhahon finally looks the player his potential showed, Baccus looks exciting prospect and O'Hara is tidy but there is no end product in terms of consistent chances created.

Ayunga is on 5 already so I am confident he will make at least 10. You are spot on about Ronin and Gogic though.

That is just it I don't see anyone else being signed. Aberdeen have a massive budget compared to us. It showed today. That is why Goodwin left. We have no depth to our squad and no one capable of taking the game by the scruff of the neck. Our goalie looks a downgrade on Jak and Gogic leaves a massive whole in the middle of the park. If we stick with this squad and dont address the obvious we are in serious trouble.

Oh for a Gogic in that team. We are way to light in midfield. A couple more injuries and we are fecked

Totally agree. Patience is required here. There was enough on show to see how the team can progress. I think the fitter we get and more this team plays together will reap rewards. Erhahon looks better than ever and Baccus looks a real find. My one worry is a bit of quality cover in Midfield and left back. Tanser is made of glass and we still need a Gogic type.

Smash and grab from Motherwell. Hardly laid a glove on us all game but got the points. I would bite your hand off for Kelly. His saves were top drawer. A lesser keeper and the score would have been 3 or 4 to us. Hopefully this result will even out during the season.

Robinson will be heavily under fire if we lose tomorrow. The team still lacks a couple of key players. I personally dont see him walking away but I do see him pushed if results are as bad as the LC campaign. I would love him to be a success but my confidence in what I have seen so far is low. I think there is mileage in the well story but I dont think it is cut and dried
