No it doesn’t because SPFL teams have the funding available to play at National Level - while Tier 5 has next to nothing

What theories? They don’t want B teams in the system they didn’t vote to bring them in to the SPFL or LL in the first place. But the genie was let out of the bottle so they reluctantly accepted a status quo situation as the Conference was the more important issue at this time

How could we move to Venters Park?

There were some semi-confidential style comments relying on the discretion of fans. That has happened at past meetings as well. The money wasn’t a major motivator - it isn’t a game-changer or a vote-changer -every time we voted against B teams before there was a financial benefit on offer. Nor was there any expectation of being invited into a conference - more chance of an invitation style scenario if B teams weren’t admitted to the LL next season. It’s complex in that giving an all-encompassing summary would need extensive recall of everything said including the off the record stuff while brief highlights are pounced on and analysed to death without the benefit of the bigger picture.

Fans got an explanation and generally accepted it, whereas folks on here tend just to jump to simple conclusions based on whatever bias they already have. There isn’t a PowerPoint presentation especially for them.

It was a CFC meeting - info for Cowden supporters. There was a whole range of factors touched on and no need to provide an extended analysis on here.

Because the reasons as set out were complex, explained at some length and not readily summarised on a nutshell basis. The fact is CFC don’t support B teams in the structure but the Conference is a bigger issue - the B teams in the LL had already been let in the door.

No it doesn’t clearly say you were informed - and if you were you should bother checking. I am afraid if you want to make points using real facts helps. I would suggest chairmen and committee men rarely look at voting in the best interests of themselves personally and in the case of Directors actually have a duty to act in the best interests of their company (club)

Why do you just make up a story that Cowdenbeath support the Conference? They have never said that

This time Cowdenbeath looked much the better side. Played with real tempo and commitment and were on the front foot from the start - pushing forward as a team

Well given no one else has said they have voted for them it’s a bit rich to say Cowden fans have been the most vocal - everybody else’s fans are saying nothing much at all

But it does not consider the actual Option 3 - they make no comment re the Conference in a scenario where B teams can’t be promoted into the SPFL
