  1. Jesus f**k, McAdams. I was quite far away from it at the time and remember thinking he should've surely done better with the second goal. Seeing it back, it's an absolute howler and looks utterly horrific. Positioning for the free kick is awful as well.
  2. 20 years since we've won at their ground. TWENTY. You might want to rethink your predictions.
  3. The problem for us as well is that in the play-offs the home game is meant to give you the advantage but our home form especially, has been fucking gash. Most teams would probably not be too disheartened at taking a draw, or even a one goal deficit into the second game at home, with the confident thinking that they could turn it round or kick on and win. If we were in that position, it would be terrifying needing to score 2 or more at home.
  4. You'll have to excuse me, my memory is dreadful and I've had an unusually large amount to drink since getting home. Oh well.
  5. Ah, so the privilege of playing just the final when you finish second bottom only applies to the big division then? Shocker. Cheers for clearing that up. Two 2-legged ties sounds like absolute hell to me. One perhaps, but I wouldn't trust us to win both ties. It couldn't get any fairer than the last 2 fixtures of the season to be honest. Both playing the same teams. One home and one away. Whatever the outcome, whoever finishes 8th will fully deserve it. Hope we can drag our sorry arses over the line for 8th, and then yous stay up in the play-offs.
  6. Sick as a fucking pig. I know we missed numerous chances to make it 2 but Dunfermline, until the last 10-15 minutes, were shite, and I didn't see that total collapse coming at all. McAdams has been good for us this season, no doubt, but he should have saved both goals without any question. Of course it would happen in this fixture. Bar the 2 away days in 2022 at Ki**ie and ICT, this season has been an absolute living nightmare. Can't wait to see the back of it. I can see us getting 2 draws in our last 2 games or a win and a defeat, don't think we will get any more than that. If Dunfermline can get a win and a draw, it should see them 8th. So am I right in saying, whoever finishes 9th plays just 2 matches (home and away) in the play off final?
  7. This is essentially a cup final for us today. Win it, and we are all but safe. Lose it, I think we're screwed and will be 9th. Draw, and I reckon we would need one more win. It all hinges on today, and I just don't think I trust Bullen to chose the correct starting line up. The groundhog match day scenario of a terrible starting line up followed by bringing on subs half way through or later, which snatch a glorious draw, needs to stop. We can't keep starting to play when we are one or two down. I honestly fear the worst today, I don't fancy us one single bit in this fixture. Hope I'm wrong.
  8. See this is what pisses me off as well. You’re going to get fans thinking “Oh that was a good result considering we were 2 down”. I’m sorry, but no. We were 2 down because of an absolute shit show of a starting line up. Wherever Kenton came from, send him back. Waste of a jersey. On a positive, Bryden was exceptional today.
  9. See when you see this kind of level in the second half, it frustrates the life out of you. You’re happy at being level but 26 times losing the first goal…. Scoring 2 goals is difficult enough in this league, be nice to do it first for a change. Scoring 2 and only getting a draw is, as I say, unbelievably frustrating.
  10. This better second half is all well and good but constantly leaving a mountain to climb before producing it, is farcical.
  11. This routine of picking a shite lineup with shite tactics and losing the first goal then bringing Tomi on in the second half is getting boring. If he’s not fit for 90, he should be starting. Bullen, match after match, just making 2/3 subs at a time when we are getting beat, out of desperation and hoping we get a goal. He comes across like he hasn’t a clue what he’s doing. Grim as f**k.
  12. Bunch of gutless b*****ds. Let’s face facts here. Bullen isn’t any better than the other 2 duds. Just because he’s not part of the usual manager merry-go-round crew, he seems to have this free pass with a lot of supporters. His lineups and tactics, in the main, are fucking horrific.
  13. Exactly. And that they just don't care That’s genuinely what it looks like to me.
  14. Absolute fucking garbage. Our (home) form is a disgrace.
  15. Looking at our fixtures now, if we lose against yous next Saturday then I’d say we’re fucked. Looking like it’s all on that game as I don’t fancy a win against ICT, QOTS away or Patrick. Not that I fancy a win at EEP either but even a draw would give us a chance.
  16. This has been the most worrying aspect for me since he took over. Every important crunch game, we've fucked it. When it's a game that's a dog fight, the other team looks hungrier and like they want it so much more, while we look miles off it. Positivity is all well and good, but you need grounds for it. Inverness are on a purple patch, I can't see us getting anything from that game if I'm being honest with myself. Dunfermline away will be the one for me. Win it and we are probably safe. Lose it, we're 9th and likely down. QOTS away - When did we last win there? I love that journey, but HATE that fixture. Partick at home - They've loved playing us this season and again, I couldn't fancy us for a win here at all. So yeah, I really do think (if Ki**ie win on Saturday), it will come down to the Dunfermline game to decide. Hope I'm wrong.
  17. Really miss the old season ticket books. Something very satisfying about carefully tearing out the numbered slip for the relevant game. And no need to worry about scanning/systems being down. Sometimes it would be nice if everything in life wasn’t controlled by a screen.
  18. It's genuinely painful when you read some of the comments on there. The Tomi stuff is dreadful. I was honestly waiting for the first post on there where someone questioned Bryden playing so much. I'm surprised it took so long in a way, but then again I suspect that's because he was always going to receive a fierce defence from his pals on the SRE. Trying hard, running a lot and playing for the badge. Yep, that'll serve us well. In fairness he was decent last night when moved out wide, looks much better there but as a centre forward, he's a million miles away because he gets swotted away by central defenders so easily and the most crucial problem is that he offers absolutely nothing whatsoever in terms of being a goal threat and that's kind of a problem when you are played as a sole striker. He's only 17 years old, and I am more annoyed at Bullen for throwing him in the deep end given the dire position we are in. It's a hell of a weight to put on the kid's shoulders. The whole "He had no option because Tomi is injured and Ashford suspended" reason doesn't wash with me. You find another system/set up/way.
  19. That's exactly why you should NEVER do it. Was just so scunnered. The fact we got a draw though is enough for me, I'll see the goal on the highlights.
  20. Left disgusted in the 92nd minute, that'll teach me. Got away with murder with that result. Absolutely shocking performance.
  21. Don’t worry about that. The Championship is now the Seaside League anyway.
  22. If Bryden leads the line in a game of this importance, you'd be as well staying in the house. Can't stress enough how well I hope he does in his career, but from what's he's offered so far in his many appearances, he's a country mile away from being ready to play at this level. All this " GET BEHIND THE TEAM!!!!" stuff is all well and good. Football is not free to attend, so although I'll be going I fully understand the points others are making with regards to getting something for your money.
  23. Absolutely dreading this game. I usually try and remain even slightly optimistic when we are on a recent losing run but I think we’ll be on the end of a comfortable beating on Saturday. Blunt up front with Adeloye out, and no creativity. Defence is fucking rank. 3-0 Morton.
  24. I’m happy for him to be living his dream, but in terms of impact/threat, Bryden has shown a grand total of absolutely nothing in all of his 10-30 minute sub appearances to suggest he should be anywhere near the team right now, let alone the starting line up. He literally looks like a fan who is chasing after the ball to get it back for his favourite team. We can’t afford to get sentimental in our state right now. Bullen will just have to try another set up to get the best out of his abundance of wingers and number tens.
