Maybe you had a couple of prawns covering your eyes so fair enough. They chased the bus through the car park. Security boy did try n calm them tbf to him but was fighting a losing battle.
Actually quite dangerous, so close to the bus a trip and one could have ended under the wheel .
It would be a shame if it took someone to get hurt before it gets acted upon.
Dont want stupidly to spoil a good venture.

Yip as others have said worthy winners today it's nice to get back to our early season form but still disappointed to lose another goal at the back post from a corner
Thought the young team in there new shed were top class aswell so shout out to them
Good to see their shed named after the Rec.

A top-of-the-table clash awaits at Balmoor as second-place Peterhead take on league leaders Stenhousemuir. The sides played out a turgid 0-0 draw on the second game of the campaign but the Warriors won the next encounter, arguably turning in their finest 45 minutes of the season so far, thanks to goals from Mikey Anderson and Adam Brown. Since that contest in November, Peterhead have taken just 11 points, while Stenny have a perfect record of 27 and have pulled away at the division's summit.
What's happened to the Blue Toon? They looked like credible title contenders a couple of weeks ago! That said, I didn't think much of them when we last met. They weren't in the game in the first half and unimaginative in the second, thumping balls up towards Rory McAllister with little success. I suppose coming from two goals down to snatch a point against East Fife yesterday is something to be proud of, but their recent form has been poor and they can be got at. I certainly fancy our chances of getting something, although we are a little short on numbers.
Nat Wedderburn will miss out through suspension and Nicky Jamieson is probably injured but Kyle Jacobs especially and Edin Lynch are good respective replacements. We'll miss both players - Wedderburn brings so much strength and authority to the middle of the park, while Jamieson is the ideal opponent to take on McAllister - and it highlights how fortunate we've generally been. The only difficulty is the lack of options from the bench.
Let's go with:
- Matty Aitken -
- Euan O'Reilly - Matty Yates - Adam Brown -
- Mikey Anderson - Kyle Jacobs -
- Kinlay Bilham - Edin Lynch - Gregor Buchanan - Ross Meechan -
- Darren Jamieson -
I'm a little wary of this game, given our absentees and I think we could drop points here. I hope not! Let's see how far we can take this streak!
The short on numbers is something( not everything by any means) we can have a gripe about ,too.
One game in that losing run we had 4 guys on the bench, and it lessens options dramatically.
Today, however, Peterhead were the better side and deserved the win.
The second half in particular PFC controlled.
And for a change , it was a decent game overall played by the top two sides in the league.

Be a tight game( if there is a game?).
2-1 .
Or,
1-2.
Or 1-1

Sorry to interrupt but, keep your eyes peeled for news on tomorrow's game .
It's been a really hard frost here overnight ( it says minus 6 in my motor) and according to the forecast it's unlikely to be any more than a couple of degrees at midday.
Another frost overnight may well put paid to the game.
Good luck against the inbred in the cup.

Will be 8 behind in a week and a bit
And the top 3 to play last 3 games of 2023.
Unless there's a marked improvement, 8 points may not be too bad.
Elgin have teams within a couple of points of them in that time span.

We keep on rolling!
Good win against a decent Stranraer side with a winning goal fit to grace any game.
Off to Stenny midweek.

It’s was so much T-shirt weather, that I opted for 2 T-shirts….and a hoodie, jacket, hat, scarf and gloves. Still absolutely baltic.
Well done on surviving games at Balmoor during the depths of winter, I can’t even begin to imagine.Thought your stadium announcer and prematch music play list were absolute class.
It was a bit tongue in cheek!
It does help that folk can move around.
Sitting for 90 minutes is a cold episode.
Hope you've thawed out!

East fife are not the worst team to visit Balmoor this season.
Cant see them have any trouble avoiding getting into a dogfight with the dire Clyde, or the ultra dire Elgin.
3 points more on the board and ( for me) our best player( Hamish Ritchie) to return soon, were in decent nick.

Greetings .
To let all Dundee Utd fans making the journey North today; its T shirt weather.
Lovely day in the Blue Toon.

The writing was on the wall for Elgin within 5 minutes. They had a couple of chances a bit later in the half, but the second half was one way traffic.
Peterhead are a totally different proposition this season and banging in 6 goals today will have boosted the confidence even more.

Delighted with the win. First half was a scrappy affair, but second half PD were in control.
Good finish from Hamish for the first, and a well taken pen for the winner.
The referee spoiled the game with his inconsistency.

Spoke to a Bonnyrigg supporter after the game and we both agreed todays ref was terrible for both teams, he was convinced that he was going to nook their player for fiving but they got the pen & think Rory went looking for ours so cancelled each other out. The actual goal we scored was a beut & a worthy winner.
Rory wasnt 'looking' for a pen. The defender clipped his foot as he turned . The defender immediately put his head in his hands as he knew it was an infringement.
No complaint from any Rose player.
As for the ref, he was very poor. The usual inconsistency on show.
But, to expect anything better in the 4th tier........... ain't gonna happen.

How about Jack Wilkie, keep again for next season or not ready for mans game?
With the lack of signed players you may well need him.
Bit of a mess.

Last game of the worst season in my lifetime.
A few vodkas in the club, freeze the bollocks one more time, back in at h/t for more vodkas, bollocks frozen again, maybe more vodkas at full time.
Home.
Roll on next season.

4hours to Dumfries from Ellon (I think one of your posts mentioned you live there) is good going. It's a journey I did many times back in 81/82 when commissioning the original power station. Pretty sure it used to take me 5 hrs (just south of Dumfries to Peterhead) but places like Forfar, Laurencekirk and Stonehaven weren't bypassed then, nor was Aberdeen (used to tear along the beach road). My abiding memory was overtaking the fish trucks to avoid the fishy ice spray on the windscreen and then not stopping for a pee cos I'd have to pass the trucks all over again. Used to arrive at the power station and make a bee line straight for the loo before talking to anyone. Happy days.
Thanks for reminding me of how crappy that route was back then.
Forever rooted in the memory.
The difference now is immeasurable.

Massive game for the us as we look to confirm the title at the first chance. I’m expecting a larger than normal away support which includes myself for my first trip to balmoor.
I’d think we’ll put out a similar 11 as against Falkirk but more in a 3-4-2-1 than the 4-5-1 we had.
Outside of the football, any recommendations for a pre-match meal, and also if all goes well where’s the pub being used for the party?
Depending on your arrival time......
Theres Harbour Springs which is first left at the roundabout . Macdonald s is off the same road. KFC is on the right of that roundabout.
In town theres the Palace Hotel. Waverley Hotel. Wetherspoons. Lots of carry out joints.

Embarrassing for Edinburgh.
Beaten by the worst team in the SPFL.
Deserved win for the Blue Toon though.

We are improving but the constant changing of personnel slows the process, but theres a marked difference in the attitude of the team.
Queens were deserved winners so no complaints.
Realistically we are in a play off with Clyde for a play off place!

One of your number laughed at my post at seasons start when I said it's the worst PD team I'd seen in decades.
Another of your number said wait a while.
I've waited..
We are crap.
Clyde ,on the other hand...........
If it's any consolation, both clubs are going down regardless of which one manages to sneak a play off place.
They're the worst 2 teams in this division by a country mile.

It was a decent home win, but Clyde are absolute crap.
If we fight as we have done the last 3-4 games ,who knows, but QotS will be favourites.

Looking forward to this, not been to a game since the 3rd December. Our last home game against Peterhead was so stupidly wasteful. Hopefully this week is better.
Are Peterhead looking any better after a pretty turbulent January in terms of players moving on and the new manager getting settled in?
PD do look a bit better with quite a few new signings and more on the way, but it wont be an instant turn around.
The last two performances......albeit a draw and a defeat......were much better than what we've witnessed the rest of the season, but I cant see anything other than a home win. A draw at best for us.
IF we could score a goal it would help!
Unless you implode like the last game at EEP.

All goals are avoidable. Find 22 perfect footballers, none of whom make mistakes and all goals would be avoided.
0-0 draws every game, every week.
I suppose Clyde would be happy with nil nil......
