  1. It's hard to moan too much when they haven't had a game for what 7-8 months?

Few decisions I would have liked the players to act differently on or sooner, but nothing dramatic.

Nobody failed, and it was good to see some composure in situations we didn't have it last year, and a bit of fluidity in the 2nd half. Could have created a bit more in the first half perhaps.

Ref was pish, Kelty got about 80% of the decisions their way, and he certainly didn't like Sabatini for some reason, must have been the softest penalty I've seen given this side of the millennium.

I hope "infinity 21 streaming" are going to mail me some paracetamol after their choppy-vision broadcast.

  3. This is roughly what I would field based on the current squad, having not seen half the squad play and based on a bunch of assumptions. Not too sure about Robert's position as I think he played on the wing vs Chelsea U21s. Theres clearly a gap in CM and more likely Robert goes to a wing and Thomson ends up on the bench. I'm sure Murray would continue to see something in McKay that I don't as well 😛

GK - Hutton/Currie (Depending on form)

    DR - MacDonald
    DC - Fordyce
    DC - Crighton
    DL - McCann

    DM - Kerr

    RW - O'Reilly
    CM - Robert
    LW - Thomson

    CF - Carrick
    CF - Gallagher

    S1 Hutton/Currie
    S2 McKay
    S3 Mbayo
    S4 Roy

  4. Don't know what to think of the new defender, released from a team below conference north/south level? "Alright" at Albion Rovers? Was at Anderlecht and Aberdeen, but did nothing with it? It's unfair to write someone off without seeing them play, so I guess we will have to wait and see.

Midfield needs some ball winning midfielders.

Up front needs someone proven to augment it rather than relying on Ally Roy if/when Gallagher/Carrick are unavailable.

Seen him play a few times, he’s young and most won’t have heard of him but wouldn’t expect him to play much if I’m honest

I was vaguely hopeful of another Thomas Robert by getting this guy for a season, seen as west ham were mentioned earlier in the thread!:

That said, we already have an excellent right back for this level in Kyle MacDonald
