I've missed most of that, fortunately. People are getting restless, and that's not surprising, but there is nothing to be achieved by having digs at club officials on social media when few, if any, of us know what is going on behind the scenes. The man I feel most sympathy for is Jim Goodwin. What a shitstorm he has walked into. We really could do with a couple of decent signings very soon to give everyone a lift.

Like you, I was a big Dargo fan. People suggested he was quite happy to spend time on sidelines with injuries, but having had the opportunity to chat to him, it was clear he was thoroughly scunnered about how things were going, and was desperate to feature. He was a good guy. I'd bite your hand off if offered the then Craig Dargo right now. I won't lie, given how things have been going with recruitment, I would take May in a heartbeat. Every signing is a punt, but not all are of players with a decent pedigree at this level. I suspect he is as good as were (un)likely to get.

Idly speculating here, so take my ramblings with a pinch of salt, but I wonder if there is something amiss that was reflected in Oran Kearney's blatant contrast in attitude towards Scott and Fitzpatrick respectively. Is there some residue from that still lingering, that could be unsettling business behind the scenes? We can only hope that everything is tickety boo as opposed to fuckity bad as seems worryingly likely.

Well, aren't things going swimmingly so far? Not having witnessed any of these games (thank Christ!), I'm loathe to comment, but is there really any excuse for the players underperforming to this extent? Even without the required additions, we should have had enough to put these teams away (aside from Dunfermline who were always likely to be a stern test). Are the players bothering their arses? Has Jim asked them to do outrageously silly things on the football pitch? Is there some kind of unrest underlying this. Who knows, but it has the makings of a fucking shambles of a season.

Agreed. I stopped posting on B&WA last autumn after years of using the site. It really is fucking abysmal these days, with attention seeking fannies holding court.
