Hiya neeburs.
How did Rovers get on tonight?
Hopefully conservatory conversions keep funding your club. Great
you must feel inadequate watching Arbroath do what your team can’t this season so far , 3points closer to the pars now

I have a season ticket and agree with nearly everyone else that it’s a great idea for Tuesday,

"Rovers main focus up until this point had been trying to remain in the game, but with the bit now firmly between their teeth, Dunfermline, for the first time in the match, were on the back foot,"
Did you skip past this bit Hightower?!
Of course

Just fact checking
opportunity however, but it was arguably as good as it got in the game’s opening stages, with chances in the two final thirds at a premium, although the away side were edging it in terms of possession.
They were having digs at goal too, albeit wild ones, with Kallum Higginbotham and Faissal El Bakhtaoui both trying their luck from 25-yards out, but their attempts sailed impotently into the home end.
slight exaggeration but it’s been a tough season , you can have it

I've repeatedly said it ended up being a battering/skelping/doing/humping but up until the sending off it was a game we should have had tied up, which seems to have upset a few folk. I'll be on my way now lol
If I remember correctly it was a game of few real chances , sending off turned it for us , the good guys won and Lewis Vaughan became a hero

Sorry but that's not correct. We were well on top when you opened the scoring. It ended up 3-0 so looked like a battering but we only "chucked it" when went down to 10 men.
That 3-0 win in the cup !! sorry I thought it was this season you were on about , there’s been so many I get confused

A generation ago. 96-97. 4 league wins out of 4 for us. I wasn't just referring to results tho. Everything football related seems to be a different level along your way.
I have tried to erase that season from my mind, andy Tod playing and now his son is in your squad , man are we auld

I think that’s a smashing signing. You’d imagine we’d maybe be looking to offload a couple of players on loan now? Ross Millen potentially and Dylan Corr you’d imagine.
I’d be right up for sending them to Arbroath to aid their relegation fight against whatever other dross is down there with them right now.
your a bad man , f***ing love it

All 3 were pretty decent at the Pars to be fair. Connolly hardly got a sniff but looked a wee bit lightweight if I remember rightly. Callum Smith got chucked in at the start of the 17/18 season and did really well scoring against Inverness on his debut but he got loaned out once Nicky Clark was fit and never got a look in after that sadly. Shaun Byrne is a completely different player to the one we had the year we won League 1. He's way more physical whilst retaining his ability to use the ball well.
I can't seem to remember dismissing any of them as "duds" though unlike someone I know fairly well........
Remember you saying when we signed Byrne « we don’t need any of his square passes in our team »

@Been going too long let's not mention "the dud" eh??!! ️
Doing fantastic at Millwall mind if you have any other ex players that you didn’t rate like Connolly, Callum smith, Shaun Byrne then send them along the A92

The Commentators mentioned a number of times in the first half that the DUFC threat was mainly on their left wing, not SO much second half.
Wonder if there was any truth about the Ross Millen spat with IM?
I heard it’s true about the spat with Murray and he won’t play for us again , the fact he wasn’t in the squad for a big game imo confirms this for me

felt for the first half hour or so James Brown looked really suspect, didn’t stop anything coming into the box down his side. Like Millen on a poor day but without the crossing. But to be fair, he grew into the game and seemed solid enough second half.
Agree with that but don’t think he has played for a while but second half much better and nothing spectacular he just done his job, Murray did what I hoped he would first half, make us hard to beat and solid then bring on the flair players second half to attack them
