Part of the reason we managed to attract such a big crowd on Friday night, a fixture I thought would have been a tough sell so close to Christmas, is down to the input people like them are coming up with week after week!
100% , they are constantly creating great wee pieces and putting the rovers out there and getting people thinking and talking about them

Not to that United are to blame, but if the full stand was made available at once, the club could've been avoided as they could've given a dedicated portion to the young team.
Agreed it was a stupid decision by United

I'm not giving advice at all - except where I gave your club praise for using their funds well! You may well have those young players, but the players named in my post are still there and still drawing a wage. It's like a Man Utd fan saying that they aren't paying big wages because they signed Jonny Evans on a free from Leicester and they have a couple of academy graduates in their squad. It's honestly baffling to me the mental gymnastics some Raith fans use to try and deny they have a very competitive playing budget for the division. And again, for the avoidance of doubt - I'm not advising/lecturing/pontificating, just commenting on the situation without prejudice.
I agree with you all those players will be on decent money, I think the defensiveness comes from the theory we are throwing money about left, right and centre. I would say we signed good championship players, no real big names from the premier league and took a chance on a couple namely corr, big kev and young Callum. We will have a healthy budget definitely but the increase in crowds, match day hospitality, finishing higher than last season and getting a couple of big earners off the books in jammer and Ethan Ross should ( I hope) balance the books, time will tell

I also sit in the Norrie, I don't think it's ever crossed my mind that I shouldn't sit there incase I get put on twitter.
Do Raith fans consider that when sitting in the South Stand?
Get what your saying but with cameras inside grounds things get picked up, rovers fan shared a video of vaughans free kick on Twitter and in full technicolour is me celebrating and my bald spot on full view everyone else sees it but I never do , it is what it is I don’t think the pars fan losing it a bit is a bad look for him, he cares about his team and just frustrated, it will be soon forgotten about

In Benidorm having a romantic lunch with my wife. Lovely wine and fabulous food. Staring into her beautiful eyes I suddenly start singing the Dylan Easton song. Am I broken?

Thats fine, I doubt he was never getting regular game time in this side. Best for all parties.
But that doesn’t fit with our boom or bust budget this season or logic , financial prudence getting rid of a high wage earner to balance the books

Right lads, we’ve got a local derby today, 3 points up for grabs, you’ll get the crowd support, some more money in your account and the likelihood to keep your place for next week. Also one of their players made a gesture you’ll see all the time towards our fans.
You really think the last point makes a difference?
That didn’t happen tho did it?
Mate it did happen but believe what you want, but the chat went remember the wee naff who thought he was Billy big time, let’s ram his gesture up his erse
maybe you should try it you clearly need the help

I’d have completely forgotten about it if it wasn’t for constant references to it from Rovers supporters.
Amazed it’s been seared so deeply on the collective wee team psyche.
Aye right you were all making it your profile picture on Twitter and calling him a pars legend for doing it, if you repeat it enough you might believe it

ah c'mon, millen etc would have been up to the same stuff without that(something I don't really have a problem with) There is absolutely no way todd's gesture has had any impact on the following games, apart from millen doing the same thing.
Apart from motivation for the next games

Fully understand the Rovers fans enjoying the win but to go after Todd and KRH seems a bit odd?
Neither player started as they were being rested for the Arbroath and QP games. Both were out for several months and last week was their first start. Their introduction also led to our only decent spell of the entire match.
Matty Todd has brought it on himself bud , he lit the touch paper in July , both are decent young players and my pars supporting pal ( acquaintance really) raves about Todd but I haven’t seen much from him but then again I usually only see you lot 4 times a year, in the game in July I didn’t think he did much except the celebration, McCann impressed more

About like you’d expect with an inexperienced young player. Position was a bit suspect now and then, missed a few assignments, showed good ball skills and was look not particularly intimidated. Really didn’t face too much of a concerted push as the Accies were down to 10 within 8 minutes of Hannah coming on. Reminded me a lot of Masson’s early efforts, decently composed and needing some coaching, but Dick was working him through the game. Masson looked much more composed than his last start (but had to come off at the half for an early flaring niggle) so with Corr coming back and Masson looking capable, I’m not sure the management team will be looking to add another CB unless Watson is much worse than we thought.
Meanwhile, any idea where McGill was tonight? If Masson is now a bit questionable for the Pars match, McGill becomes a much more important piece.
Thanks Tx, could be illness with McGill but not heard anything, I fear Watson will be out for a while yet , meant to be a week and been nearly 2 months now , will take him time to get back up to speed when back

Good win tonight but definitely most pleasing was seeing big Jack bag a brace and a few lads get some minutes under there belts , shout out to young Callum getting an assist and 45 mins under his belt, if anyone who was there how did he play?

Dave Bowman challenged the south stand for a square go when he played at the rovers, there was a few boys patiently waiting for him but no show
