  1. I’ll be honest and say I’m not 100% sure what I want the club to do. Am I angry with how the season finished? Yes. Does it frustrate me that McGlynn struggles to change a game with subs? Absolutely. But ultimately he had us playing very well and at one stage it looked like we may be able to claw back the points to take the title challenge to the end of the season. Now obviously this didn’t happen as our form went off a cliff, however, maybe he is right and he needs this summer window to “make the team his own”. Only time will tell. Changing the manager is not guaranteed success either and I’d go as far as to say that McGlynn for all his failures is still the most competent looking manager we’ve appointed in a long time. Whatever the BOD decide to do I would accept as I’m on the fence but either way they’ll know both choices are a gamble so hopefully they pick the right one
  2. We need more height and strength in the team. We’ve been bullied far too often this season. At least Agyeman will give us some much needed pace and strength in the final third. Personally, if someone came in for Morrison, I’d let him go. He’s very good on his day but he has a purple patch each season and then does very little the rest. I’m not opposed to keeping him but with a year left on his deal we should take any money we can get for him
  3. Even though I think it’s very unlikely that McGlynn will be sacked, I wouldn’t be against the club approaching Maybury. From the outside it looks like he’s done a good job at Edinburgh City
  4. I agree, however, they’ll focus more on the fact he got us to a semi final, which brought in huge financial benefits. They’ll not care the teams we had to beat to get there
  5. What a dreadful end to the season. McGlynn making like for like subs when it isn’t working is one of the most frustrating things to see. Regarding McGlynn’s future, I think he’ll be here next season. He was likely given a two year deal with the remit to get us up. The first year was likely to stabilise the team and push for promotion with the second season to gain promotion. The cup run has will probably make the BOD look back on the season as an overall success
  6. Apologies if this has already been answered but any advice on where to park tonight?
  7. I’ve maybe missed a change to the suspension criteria but I assumed Coll would just be looking at a 1 game ban.
  8. I actually thought McCann dealt well with Agyeman yesterday. He didn’t commit himself forward as much, however, I’d say that was common sense as Agyeman was clearly going to cause us issues. There was one specific time in the first half that Agyeman knocked it past McCann and he managed to get back and use his strength to get the ball back so I wouldn’t say he was turned inside out by him. Yeats needs to start in midfield. He is everywhere and for a guy his size he isn’t afraid to get stuck in. Ola just looks like he has that touch of class and like many I’ve been desperate to see more of him so hopefully he gets his chance. McGlynn needs to find a way to play both Alegria and Burrell as I thought they caused their defence a lot of issues, however, that might not work every game
  9. This is true but that one small part has had the biggest impact. If there aim was to try and get more people to sign up to FSS, then I can guarantee they’ve done the exact opposite
  10. I’ve emailed them. They need called out on this
  11. That is terribly worded and will quite rightly piss a lot of people off
  12. Doesn’t look like Ola and Burrell are out with the other subs
  13. Mackie was poor last week so if he wanted to change it he should have benched him today. Moving McCann to right back is baffling
  14. Can we get back to talking about the football please. Back to the match on Saturday. I spent the whole of half time in a queue that when I joined at the half time whistle had no more than 15 people in it. It’s a shambles and needs sorted!
  15. Morrison is Playing with so much confidence just now. The difference in him from a few weeks ago is frightening
  16. Harrison wasn’t great but by no means the worst. I’d take Harrison over Dallison any day of the week
  17. I did enjoy that interview from Rumarn. I hope he has the performances to back up the confidence
  18. I think it was a reckless tackle, hence the red. He intentionally caught McCanns standing/trailing leg and made no attempt to play the ball
  19. Yes Morrison should have scored more today but it’s worth remembering that the majority of the chances he didn’t take were ones created by him. If he was out the team today we would have created far less than we did. I would be more annoyed if he was missing chances created by other players that someone else could take
  20. I honestly think Alegria needs a couple of goals. He made some really good runs, had a couple of really intelligent knockdowns and held the ball up well. He should have done better in front of goal but I believe that’s a confidence thing
  21. I’m not being reactionary here but completely honest. I was really not sure about renewing my season ticket this year but I decided the new BOD and management team needed backing and time so I renewed. Now I know it’s early but I’m already starting to get concerns that things could be similar to what we’ve seen in previous seasons. If that is the case, myself and I suspect a lot of other fans won’t renew next season and it will make things extremely difficult. I really hope things turn around and we can get rid of some of the dross we’ve been stuck with from last season.
  22. Burrell looks so much better than Alegria from what I’ve seen so far
  23. Is it too late to get a refund on my season ticket? Why do I never learn!
  24. That was a shocking decision by the ref. Defender through himself in front of Mackie
