What game were you watching? He had a very short spell where he was their main player then disappeared. Telfer won the battle with him and schooled him in the end. So much so, that Longridge lashed out and got a booking because he was frustrated

ATS, Dixon and McGuffie were the worst of the lot today. McKay should never be in the team, however, people singling him out need a word with themselves. He really didn’t do much wrong at all today. I thought Watson was solid at the back and couldn’t really fault him Gobsmacked to see someone criticise Kabia. He caused their defence all sorts of problems and worked his arse off. His bit of skill in the first half down the left wing was outstanding and better make the highlights

I suspect Thistle have been clever here. It’s likely they’ve been given a loan fee from Dundee for Rudden, which would make sense as if they sold him, they’d owe Rangers money as they have a sell on fee. Could be clever business by Thistle

I can understand why he isn’t changing the formation yet. It’s clear that’s how he wants us to play and he’s trying to get players settled into that formation. Changing it during a match could be seen as counter productive, hence why he’s sticking with it

His goal contributions are shocking for someone who plays as a number 10. I could forgive the lack of goals but the number of assists should be so much better

But it doesn’t solve it. Who is going to play left midfield? Also we’ll have Morrison out wide who has a terrible delivery. You could argue playing a 442 makes us weaker

So if he told Miller he was starting today then changed it when he brought in Jacobs last minute then making the change would be fine? Of course it wouldn’t. I want Miller out the team as much as the next guy and I’m sure Jacobs will be in from the start next week but I can understand why he didn’t start today

You can’t just throw Jacobs in when he’s been signed on the day. I’ve said this to you before but let’s be real about this. If he dropped Miller for Jacobs when it’s likely the guy hasn’t even trained with the team what do you think that would do for the team and players morale?

For those saying “Rennie can go back to managing his womens team in America” should maybe have some respect for what the guy has done in his career. If your calling for his head already then you deserve the club you’ve got!

Seriously think people are underestimating just how shite we were/are. The squad is shocking. It’s so powderpuff, especially in midfield. Rennies signings so far have been positive but nothing is going to be fixed overnight. Rennie will be judged on how he does by the end of the season. I’m not going to dismiss him after a month in charge
