  1. Clyde have been a bit of a probem for us all season. 2 lovely goals from us today. Made the celebrations a bit sweeter by getting a very late winner.
  2. No chance Falkirk are winning 6-3 on corners. Best team in Scotland at winning corners.
  3. I think he has become a great attacking threat. Still gets caught the wrong side of his man often and has a few brain farts. Happy to see him sign and hopefully progress but I still have a few doubts about him. Not as happy as others about this but not unhappy either.
  4. Was delighted to get rid of Hughes to be honest. Best thing that could happen to us. Coming back much stronger.
  5. It will be even funnier when your money runs out and QP drop like a stone. Lowland legue should sustainable with a core support of 400.
  6. Where do you start..... Some 12 year old banter about semis and hard-ons. This is then supported by some roaster standing outside our ground with a giant butt plug above his head. Oh dear.
  7. We would give Celtic half the ground yes. A title decider should be watched by as many people as the ground can safely allow. Full stadiums should be encouraged. Teams like Queens throwing cash about to get up the leagues as quick as they can with no infrastructre to remotely satisfy public demand is not to be appauded in my opinion.
  8. This is the problem with money men pumping money into wee teams. They can't cater for the public demand higher up the leagues. Would be a joke if this game is played infront of a half full stadium.
  9. The appeal has been rejected. O'Hara out for the season.
  10. To be fair, we have no natural centre backs playing. Otoo seems more of a left back but is the closest player to what you would call a centre back. We have Comrie who's a 5 foot 9 right back and Chris Hamilton a 5 foot 7 defensive midfielder. No Bene or Breen. Must be tempting to have a go at a back line like that. On the flip side, we have done better against teams that have a go at us. Our biggest problem has been teams sitting in very deep. Edinburgh and Kelty have recently done that and come away with a point.
  11. Dave MacKay said we're making changes tomorrow ''but not 6 or 7''. He also states that training was a bit lighter at the start of the week after the celebrations for a couple days. Can't see past an Airdrie win tomorrow personally but I'm really not bothered. It's job done and my interest in this division has evaporated already. Can't wait to see what signings we bring in this summer to add to some good players we already have. Think we could make a big impression on the Championship next year.
  12. Quite a few of them are also players who made the promotion play-off the year before relegation. Comrie, Edwards, Wighton, O'Hara, MacDonald, McCann, Allan and Todd. Mehmet has been promoted with Dundee Utd. Todorov was in the championship team of the year 2 years ago. Bene came 3rd place with Rovers that year. Chris Hamilton came second with Arbroath last season. Most of our squad have played at promotion chasing level in the championship previously. McPake has stated in his interview with BBC Sport that there are ''Parts'' of the team ready for the championship but he knows he needs to bring in more quality. We won't see huge changes but 4-5 players of a higher level sounds about right to me.
  13. Wighton is the best striker in this league in all honesty. If he was fit in the early part of the season he would have another 7-8 goals on his tally. Some talent with the ball at his feet.
  14. Haha. The state of you. Dry your eyes bud. Half a decade in the seaside leagues has clearly got to you.
  15. On top of your superb post, I think this stat is incredible. I've been lucky enough to witness 6 of those title wins. 1986, 1989, 1996, 2011, 2016 and 2023. Should've won the league in 1987 too. Total arse collapse in the final two games to give Morton the title.
  16. Picked him as our POTY in the online vote. Absolute colossus at the back. Matty Todd has also been tremendous. Scored a couple belters against you guys this season too. KRH is a stand out but only came on to a game in the second half of the season. Craig Wighton is the same second half of the season. Best all round striker in the league in my biased opinion.
  17. Going to get this right up you cnts whilst enjoying our easy title win.
  18. Would quite like to see Paton from QOS in a Pars shirt next year.Him and Wighton would be superb options.
  19. Great post. I've had some tough times in the last year too and the Pars have been a release from the reality of life at times.
  20. Airdrie have been our toughest opponent this season. Our boys have been celebrating all night. Not sure I would have us down as favourites for this one.
