  1. Christine Curtis runs operational administration and the commercial side. She does not make major decisions on club policy and neither is she in charge of communications. So tell me, how does her name join up to you not wanting to renew your Trust membership?
  2. Well let's look at it. Originally 4 board members and a D.O.F. The D.O.F gone, no explanation. A director gone, no explanation. That leaves a big, but not majority shareholder chairman who lives in London. An I.T. man and a child protection officer. Does the C.P.O actually have a vote on the board, or is he just there to tick a box? I don't know. If not that leaves 2 and whether one of those has a casting vote I also don't know or remember. The chairman can communicate via Zoom, so technically speaking we are run by Zoomers. One campaigned for Trust board election on improving transparency, how's that working out? Were the Trust board consulted before Darren was sacked? We don't know that either. The not dealt with Ultras problem has degenerated to Police intervention at our last 3 home games. One of the said fannybaws squad having been arrested and charged with possession of an offensive weopon. Are we paying for the Police presence? Mebbies aye, mebbies naw, we don't know. It's all going so much better than I expected I'm absolutely thrilled.
  3. Ach you'll get over it mate. I was just about there after some Raspberry jam doughnuts I grabbed at Morrison's after the game of death.
  4. Who knows? I've got some popcorn to share if you want some.
  5. There is a trapdoor out of the league down here now mate and another home grown rookie is a hell of a risk. The goodwill is appreciated though, so thanks for that.
  6. In all honesty I do believe Darren has some responsibility for dropped points, due to team selections and usage/late usage of subs when it wasn't working in some games. That said we have fired a manager who has twice won the league 2 title an his first full season in charge and have no idea what quality of candidate will replace him. Sheer f.....g genius!
  7. Still a big test to go, but league 1 beckons. Good luck folks.
  8. If it was any other team but Dumbarton I'd be rooting for Spartans in this. They have done magnificently well in their first season in the league. It is Dumbarton though and their fan's have suffered enough over the past few years. Time to man up Faz get it done.
  9. If it was a choice between her and the return of the Alex Smith 5-5-0 formation, I'd give her the job myself.
  10. If this lot appoint a rookie I will literally piss myself laughing.
  11. I don't know who's behind the rumour mill on Christine, but just fech off! She was Commercial manager, but with no team to work with. Then she gets roped in to help keep hospitality going till that got sorted out. On top of that she was roped in to keep the club shop going till that got covered. Oh wait, who's going to be operations manager? Christine can do it. There must be something else to palm off on her and get shat on for a thankyou. Assistant groundsman maybe?
  12. First point. If you call being bawled at, sworn at and intimidated causing trouble, then trouble there was and there's more than one board the culprit for that could have come from. Second point. We are not a fan run club. We are a fan owned club. Where the biggest shareholders now call the shots. The biggest shareholder is your chairman, just like a privately owned club. You did have a vote on all appointments, but of course no other candidates were permitted. Democracy Mugabe style. Third point. Get used to it. There is no engine for change and no interest in one, not even from me. It is what it is and heigh ho on we go. On Darren, I am sorry to see him go. He could have acknowledged some responsibility for this season's failure, but I wouldn't have let him go, pushed him out, whatever the hell actually happened here? Best to just move on and concentrate on the football. Finally, Carrick has been carrying an injury for months. The rest should help him back to form.
  13. Enjoy the moment you earned it and the stark truth is we earned ours. It's not like we're going anywhere we haven't been before.
  14. Neither did I mate. One blown effort in the first half and not one shot on target in the second. Oh well, you know the story with yoyos. Soon as they get up, they spin their way back down again. A beautiful afternoon for it. What a difference a year makes eh?
  15. Congratulations Dumbarton and all the best to you in the final. We huffed, we puffed, but we weren't good enuff.
  16. Today's the day. Do we stay up with a bang, or go down with a whimper. Ah sod it, all the best to ALL supporters at the game.
  17. We either play 2 strikers up front tomorrow or Dumbarton can bring their party hats. Even if we do, they should bring them anyway if the players don't calm down, play football and bin the panic clugging.
  18. Ok enough. I have exclusively obtained video footage exclusively of the said Saturday night fever with Jack. You can clearly see he is carrying an injury and likely sustains a further injury to his lips near the end.
  19. To be brutally honest, we now seem to need a win by 2 goals to stay up, from a team that doesn't seem to have a win by 2 goals in it. I need another nap.
  20. I always thought unnaturally big only applied to American boobies, so this is all lost on me.
  21. Forgive yourself Moonster, it's a lot easier to get excited about promotion than relegation.
  22. I'd prefer Offord up with Carrick in a 4-4-2 instead of whatever the hell we have been playing. Josh Cooper out wide right instead of Hilson. It couldn't make it worse than it has been and a bit more pace up front wouldn't hurt either.
  23. Well tonight's the night. I can't even face watching the BBC live texts come in. I plan to have a tension free nap with Vodka assistance. I'll face up to this when it's over. In F all I trust.
