  1. So long ago I don't remember when it was. Not since we crashed down to league 2 I think. Must be at least 12 or 13 years, maybe more?
  2. Both penalties were soft mate. Neither side set the pulse racing much, but you got a point with a cracking finish. I wouldn't call it stolen myself.
  3. Everywhere is a tough place for us to go right now mate. Dumfries possibly being the nicest to look at.
  4. A game where both sides need to wake their ideas up.
  5. I can't say I was impressed with that performance. The ball given away, hoofed to no one, or headed straight to an opponent far too often. You don't win games doing that and I thought we looked there to be beat, even when we were ahead. A stupid sending off and poor defending at the end probably leaving both sides frustrated. Still, class finish from Scully to be fair. We need Carrick, Hilson and or an in form Leitch back and soon.
  6. I was thinking more of vodka, but that does almost guarantee the snooze.
  7. To be honest mate I don't even want to know. The manager won promotion without a DOF, so the departure doesn't concern me.
  8. The departing board left 450 grand in the bank mate. That I know for a fact. Money was there to at least for a time maintain Darren's budget as was. Here I'm going to give the present board some credit. I was concerned they might run that balance down over fast by upping Darren's budget. They haven't done that and I'll actually commend them for their prudence.
  9. A tad harsh on the guy with that. When I saw the line up I was scratching my head wondering why our only left back was on the bench too, not being at Annan either. I said nothing, as for all I knew Clark might have picked up a knock. I do agree with you on the present lack of cover in that position though.
  10. I said it and I stand by it. It's hardly a shock when we lost our second biggest sponsor, with no new sponsors announced.
  11. Good to see Arbroath having a better start than last season. Looking ahead is always so much more fun than looking nervously over your shoulder. Good luck to you for the season.
  12. I wasn't at the game, or have seen the highlights yet, so haven't commented on it. I have seen what the manager had to say about it and according to him the players were applauded off the pitch at the end. That's good, but makes the silence even more baffling. It doesn't reflect well on us. We have a spirited side still on a league 2 budget. Despite the away defeats we have done well. Perhaps too high an expectation level?
  13. The optimism evaporated quickly. Shameful silence.
  14. If we forget the basics at the back and don't take our chances, Montrose will punish us for it like Annan did. All down to which Montrose and which Binos turn up on the day for me.
  15. There was me thinking you only get pumped on the day if you're outclassed on the day. If I'm the only one saying it. then it just can't be true though.
  16. Thankfully we don't have a game next Saturday so hopefully will have one of our regular centre halves back for the next one. Hamilton and Falkirk are the best sides we have faced so far. Who's best between them we'll all find out when they eventually meet. It should be a cracker of a contest.
  17. Nailed it with that mate. Coming back from 2-0 down against full timers and ending up with a point proves it. A penalty save from Blair in the 90th minute to secure it as well. Talk about drama at the end, geez.
  18. Good luck to Darren and the team today. Them I support 100%. The crap going on in the background can just f.... off. I'm way past even caring.
  19. When I wrote the above, I was genuinely unaware of any internal strife at the club. In fact I didn't want to know really. I just wanted to support the team and blank anything else. out. I assumed everything was running smoothly. I'd only heard a dubious rumour about ticketing. This morning I started listening and found my comments above to be uninformed bullshit! Factional infighting again and this time no Stuart Brown to blame it on., The relationship between Mr Hamilton and Daren Young absolute crap. Mr Hamilton allegedly trying to tell Darren how to pick his team and Hamilton the claimed cause of Neil Marshall's departure. There I was thinking everybody was pulling together and now I listen and get told it's a f.....g Punch and Judy show at every level. Well, no one's coming to the rescue, so I'm just carrying on supporting the manager and the team. Let them get on with another episode of fan's owned farce. A recurring running battle like a vindictive factional power struggle for control of a miner's welfare.. Let the blood run free.
