  1. As far as I know your fans did nothing wrong. The stewards would be there to keep those pubic hairless neds away from you. One was arrested and charged by the police at the last home game. Ultras. Football's version of herpes.
  2. Lucky you. My highlight of the day was listening to The Sweet and ballroom blitz over a half time ciggie.
  3. Take it any way you want bud. You asked a question, you got an answer that it's all in the past and that's all you're getting.
  4. Serious yes, but anything else but moving on is pointless and in no one's interest.
  5. Him and just about everybody else today mate.
  6. I'm like minded on everything but Jo Jo, that's way harsh Beepee. Pabs didn't keep the sheet clean on his own.
  7. It wasn't about ownership, the club is fans owned. It was a power struggle within that. It's over and as someone on the losing side of that struggle, I regard the matter as closed and only want to look forward.
  8. unfortunately we played much as we have been doing. Balls played too short, too long, too low, too high, hit anywhere. Playing each other into trouble. All the usual problems but without the fatal defensive blunders thank f..k. How we managed to end up with only Hilson as a striker defied belief. A situation created right after Queens were wobbling. When Spence was taken off I hoped Offord would be moved inside as he was lost wide right, but whatever. It was one more fruitless flop up front. It's a better result for Queens than us, but geez, no wonder their fans are out for Bartley's head. Endless route one punts forward. WTF? Similar to us, a head scratcher use of subs. Gibson was one of few giving us problems, but off he went. Just like 19QOS19, I was wondering why he left the big man stripped at the side of the park for a succession of corners. WTF 2. 0? It's an inexcusable standard for a full time club. That's not Queens fans being negative, that's rationality. I don't see Queens going down, but they should not be that close to it. As for us, if we don't beat Edinburgh next week we're in deep trouble, it's as simple as that. Safe journey home Doonhamers gan canny.
  9. I've nothing against Annan or Queens. If truth be told I've long had a soft spot for Queens going back decades. I won't bore you with why. I just want us to survive, as we all do for our sides.
  10. If he does think that he's got good reason. Our recent form has been awful. We can't go 30 minutes without blundering a goal away and our goal difference is on the fatal side. I neither assume we are doomed or blessed with safety, but I understand why he's so down Otis. I get why your lads aren't shot full of confidence either. Both sets of fans can only hope our side comes good today and hope is about all there is to cling to for us all.
  11. Thanks for that and sad to hear it. He was no wizard of dribble, but he found space, got forward. got decent crosses in and scored goals. I'd take some of that now.
  12. Anyone know what happened to Dunsmore?
  13. Hopefully the rattlers will be a distraction from watching what's annoying all of us on the pitch.
  14. My constipation problem has suddenly cleared up.
  15. I left at half time, because.......(A) I couldn't get out for a ciggie due to the behaviour of the young dickwad squad and felt that was too big a sacrifice to watch more of that. (B) Some Morrison's jammy doughnuts were calling me for comfort eating. I did get the more enjoyable experience of watching the police herding the said dickwads down the road towards the town.
  16. I'm somewhere in the middle of looking forward to this game and dreading it. Alloa's poor recent results don't mean a thing if we don't produce the goods on the park. I doubt Darren will do much in the way of changes to the line up from the last game. I can't think of any that guarantee a better performance. A nervy wait and see is all I've got.
  17. Yeah, that's closer to the truth than you know. I'd come out of the house with the wrong specs. Reading specs. I'd have been better off with none at all. Completely forgot I'd already clapped Jack off the pitch. So sorry about that Beepee. I never knew Cammy had skill like that in him. He never put a foot wrong in that game and would have been my pick for man of the match even before getting corrected on who split that defence open.
  18. Oh geez, haud oan a wee minute. Now I remember clapping Leitch off the park. Oh that hurts.
  19. To be honest I don't remember him coming off and I struggle to make out who's who at distance. So if it was Cammy all power to him.
  20. Yet it was Leitch who split that defence open and presented us with a 2 on 1 in the box at the end.
  21. Well, you did set a benchmark for part timers for years, so heads up if it comes to that.
  22. I believe you! I could tell something was going on but wasn't sure exactly what, as the said bawbags couldn't be seen from the west stand for the east wall. I could see a handful of young Montrose fans throwing something behind that wall. Presumably some of the stones they were being pelted with. I did see some of them running away from that area when I left the ground. The oldest looked about 15 or 16 and the rest between 12 and 14 some dressed in black hoodies. The oldest was shouting abuse and challenging adult Montrose supporters to fight, while running backwards away from them. More a fannybaws than a bawbag. I'm sorry mate. I'm absolutely sick of this group's behaviour and hope they can be identified and barred for good.
  23. I was disappointed in both sides. I expected Montrose to have more going forward than they did and for a long time it looked like a contest in ineptitude between two teams, at threatening the opposition goal and gifting the ball away. We were slightly getting the better of it, but I always felt nervy of being the ones who would end up losing a late goal. Thankfully Spence and Offord put that fear to bed. The standouts for me were all at the back. Cammy, Jo Jo and Pabs. McPake is clearly a gifted player, but tries to do too much on his own and needs to cut it out. Jack worked his socks off and I'm not getting the criticism there. Kyle Banner and Crane battled all game, but the passing all round was poor, Either the ball given away, or players played into trouble. Offord looked sensational when he came on, so Hilson starting before him does seem a bit off A vital 3 points, but I get why the overall display has not inspired confidence. 6 games left and we have to play better than that to ensure survival.
  24. Very few rookie managers come good. I sympathise, because we had 6 in a row at Stirling. God knows how many bite the dust for 1 Stuart Petrie to succeed.
