  1. be interesting to see where the X-Men come into the MCU at some point but up till now they have been well served by Fox. Would say Dark Phoenix would be more powerful than Scarlett Witch were she to reappear.....
  2. they chose the name of that film as the stream of words proved a very difficult title to remember, True story.
  3. I assume they have very well paid PR and damage limitation people in their employ and the best they can come up with is throw out a bullying accusation in the run up to this interview. They probably thought that in the current climate that might stick..... I do not know Meghan Markle - I have no idea if she is a bully, she may well be. However looking at the behaviour and demeanour of many of the Royal Family including their past behaviour and outbursts, I would suggest that many of them routinely treat their staff like shit and have done for years. Can you imagine Andrew or Phillip speaking cordially or kindly to someone who his misaligned their slippers? The fact that not one claim of bullying has come out of the Palace in all these years until very recently and this is apparently down to the behaviour of Meghan Markle - Christ - a PR intern would be embarrassed trying to trot that out in that context. And then the response of Royal supports on Twitter, social media and as echoed through the BBC and such like - for example someone flagged up a Peter Shilton tweet the other day where he suggested an attack on the Queen is an attack on all of us. I know I don't share political or constitutional views with a lot of people in this (UK) country but holy f**k this really shows up how fucked up this Tory induced isolationist island actually is.
  4. quite a few twist and turns missing from that sanitised journey list - maybe We Were Down kicks things off like Chapter IV A New Hope........
  5. "twitter do your thing" "you have just won twitter today"
  6. nice to meet a fellow goalkeeping aficionado ......
  7. that's the fudge they are now going for. After running with "Sturgeon has no option but to resign" and other Tory fed official statements and quotes to give them a Tuesday headline, the BBC and other outlets now see that following her performance yesterday, they can't credibly continue to run with this. Therefore to a) maintain face given all their reports/reporters predicted/hoped for a far different outcome and performance yesterday and b) to keep some sort of pressure on the SG and in the interests of continuity they have gone for the fudged "questions remain" approach. If they had led with that on Tuesday rather than act as a mouthpiece for the Tories, their take wouldn't seem so ridiculous today. Overall, I do love the spin and opinion that the BBC attach to all things SG/SNP whereas every misrepresentation, contradiction and clusterfuck that comes out of no10 is reported with a straight bat.
  8. ah yes, the important qualifier in any prediction to allow you to post "telt you" in 2037 when she elects to stand down........
  9. Not as FM nor did she serve as a leader of the opposition when she was a list MSP. As far as I can recall, my. good fella.
  10. Okay. so the Nations League and the Euro 2020 qualifiers are the same.? I'll let you enjoy the rest of your day.
  11. Davidson belting off to the House of Lords is the gift that keeps on giving. There can be absolutely no credibility attached to their line of questioning until she goes. Then Ross appears as what, a list MSP, to hold the SG to account. Its laughable and although PR will keep their numbers reasonable, I would piss myself laughing for a month should they drop a s significant amount of seats as The Gypsy King arrives.
  12. but you are presenting as fact so you would need to corroborate with something at least beyond what may be convenient timing. Re your second assertion that McGregor falsely claimed to be retiring in the middle of a campaign, I am pretty sure McGregor announced his retirement in Feb or March 2019 a few weeks before the first Euro 2020 qualifier away to Kazakstan where we got well and truly horsed. This was Shinnie at right back if I recall correctly. McLeish was gone after follow-up the laboured win against San Marino in the second game and Clarke came in for the Cyprus (?) game which was the third qualifier. We had already qualified through the backdoor route for the Euro play-offs in beating Israel in November 2018 with of course McGregor's memorable save to seal the win. By the by, for what it is worth, he is an erse of a man. You only need to look at his behaviour under Burley and his reaction to anyone coming within 5m of him week in/week out. But despite his faults, I consider he handled his retirement from international football well, including the timing.
  13. you say "spitting the dummy out". I suggest that most reasonable observers would say that speaking to the manager before announcing retirement at the age of 37 ahead of a qualifying campaign (so as not to cause disruption) would be quite the proper way to go about things: “At this stage in my career, and rather than cause any disruption in the middle of a campaign, I feel now is the best moment to step away from international football,” McGregor told the Guardian. “Playing for Scotland was always an honour and this wasn’t an easy decision to make. I want to wish all the management and players the best for the future. I’d love to see them reach a tournament.
  14. Jim Traynor's first draft of a press release on behalf of his latest client
  15. she is suggesting it is incredulous that NS can't recall information from a couple of years ago - as she flounders in recalling key phrases from her printed speech of a few minutes ago which she has in front of her.......
  16. Coming to the end of quite a dramatic day. if there is any confirmation needed of a "nothing unfortunately to see here", it's a sobering cliche punctuated take from Mr Labour on currency.
  17. no doubt her inner rage is in response to "inconvenient facts"
  18. that's your rebuttal? yes the Tory Government have thrown transparency and proper procurement processes out the window in order to give hundreds of millions of pounds of public funds to donors and those connected to the party - in many cases with no businesses in place or any experience of procuring anything never mind vital medical supplies. But the SNP have badly handled a ferry contract so it kind of balances itself out.....
  19. all the money being spent by the Government on the likes of Michelle Mone. Yes, she and other Tory donors/leachers will agree with you that there is absolutely no sign of austerity right now....
