    Guys, total noob here looking to dip my toes in to the market here. Having a brief look through the thread and can see most people are recommending having a look on youtube for advice. Is there any accounts in particular? I've set up a binance account. Will see if I actually get involved or not.

    I've seen bits and pieces and he looks the real deal. I guy I went to school with plays for Cove and he said he looked brilliant in training. Didn't seem to get much chance to play actual games though. We won't know if this approach is correct until he goes. I've no issue with the statement but I'll happily admit I was wrong in hindsight if so.

    Aye. Still creasing about other clubs fans telling us how delusional we are demanding x amount. I saw the figures quoted for Porteous and it's more than I would be paying for him. Can't say my first thoughts on the matter were anything more than "good on Hibs for holding out for what they feel he's worth".

    Exactly. Watford will be looking at the level Ferguson and McGinn have come from and comparing stats etc. McGinn is now seen as a £40m player. Watford will likely be more than happy to gamble a couple of million if they see the same potential.

    Hahaha. Also being lost is that Ferguson would meet the homegrown player quota. Yes, there are better players than Ferguson they could sign but if they're English it's going to cost more.

    Aye. Hilarious that players are only worth what certain other players cost (some are more than a year ago). Ferguson is worth what somebody else is willing to pay. Aberdeen are under no pressure to sell.

    It was allegedly £1.2m. What other language should the club use when we're trying to maximise the value. "It was almost there, not quite. Try again." The players he mentioned also never went to the EPL. That should add a fair whack to the value for a start.

    Aye. He got a couple of things right a couple of years ago. Since then he seems to be using the red tops rumours or making common sense suggestions. For what it's worth I was told a new striker is imminent but they didn't know who it was. Now we have JET I'm really hoping it's not Hendry.

    Nothing wrong with xG in the correct circumstances. This was certainly one of them and really tells the story of the game. We had the better chances but they were far more clinical.
