Was going to make that point earlier but a few of the stranger St Johnstone fans get upset when you highlight this as a strength.

Considine did say MacKenzie is the best 1 v 1 defender at the club. In defence of Kennedy he just looked completely fucked. If Hayes is to play I'd rather it's further up the park. Don't think he has the legs to keep to his pace for 90 minutes up and down the park. A couple of years ago McGregor gets nowhere near him at the end.

Quite a few players we've lost have said they were just fed up of playing the same teams at least 3 times a season. Can be 6 times if you get them in the cup too. EDIT: Didn't even notice you mentioning playing each other 6 times too!

You could also restructure the league without having to worry about the two playing each other four times a season for TV coverage.

Are they going to be as well supported if they win nothing?

I thought he had a really good game. Unfortunately we didn't take any of the chances that came from his good play. On another day we could have scored four last night. Not a criticism but shows that they've been working hard on improving things in the final third.

Just watched the highlights. Didn't think the first shout was a pen. Second was a stonewaller. Third I can see why but I think it's soft. Interestingly enough Gerrard thought the third was a pen and St Johnstone should have had another.

He was yellow carded.

He probably should have done a bit better for the equaliser and cut out the cross but he seemed to be struggling with cramp. Unfortunately he's been in the first team squad so much over the past couple of years without playing that he hasn't always been getting 90 mins at youth level. He looks a real prospect though.

I'm not too fussed with what we should have had before. In isolation that one isn't a foul for me.

Have to disagree Joey. If that's a foul then it'd take 2 hours to finish a match with all the stoppages. Hayes should have went across on to his left. McGregor would have had no option to take him down.

A point was fair enough but that was really gutting. Terrible from Considine at the end for that goal. Never a foul on Hayes. Ran out of steam. Was unlucky as he won the ball brilliantly to create the chance. Was changed days from McInnes against the OF the past few years. We usually set up to frustrate and then try and sneak it late. Tonight we went out to get the goal at the start and then had to sit back as we tired. The fans will probably accept that over the former as it looks so negative if you lose having sat back.

They didn't even bother showing the offside goal because it was so offside lads.

When? The only disallowed goal I remember was the Edouard one where he was clearly off. Thought we were very good for 35 minutes but it was getting a bit nervy at the end there. Both teams should have a couple by now. Lovely corner from McGinn for the goal. Celtic just cannot defend set pieces.
