  1. I am sure I've said similar in the past, for all the apparent interest in him, the only two acceptable offers we received were Celtic and Norwich, from memory. If you asked me then who I'd have chosen, Celtic is an absolute no brainer, going for 10, European football, staying close to your family v Norwich reserves which is where I am sure he was told he would start. I think Turnbull was unfortunate as well with the timing, the success of Scots in Italy came maybe 6 months later, Hickey, Doig, Ferguson. Now more often or not, when a young Scottish player comes through there seem's to be genuine interest from the continent off the back of the success of the one's mentioned above, Max getting his move to Austria, albeit slightly different as he was OOC, but 3-4 years ago I doubt that's a move that would have happened.
  2. whilst I totally agree with the general point, that isn't down to the additional subs, five subs but only on three occasions. unless you mean that being able to change nearly 50% of the 22 on the field then i'll wrap it and agree with the full point.
  3. To be honest, I can go along with this. I donate a 5er a month, it's gone before it even hits the bank. The only reason I actually donate is because I missed out a ticket to St Mirren away in the Scottish cup a few years ago (before the 4-4 replay) and tickets went on sale to ST holders and Society memeber's, and I was Season ticketless at the time. I am fortunate enough that I could up that payment so if something like that was to happen, chances are I would but I kind of selfishly just haven't bothered my arse to this point. Has there ever been a campaign of this sort?
  4. Biereth has just scored another lovely goal for Graz. Will say it again, he was at us by accident. A top top player.
  5. To counter what I had said previously, I seen in the comments of the tweet there is a Sheffield Utd fan saying they wouldn't be surprised to see him get some game time with them now that they are down to one fit LB, the rest are injured. he's possibly seen an opportunity to sit on a premier league bench with the chance of getting x amount in appearance fee if he plays for 5 minutes, if so, fair fucks to him.
  6. I was genuinely looking forward to seeing more of him purely based on watching his tricks and flicks at half time. Hope the guy is all good and that, wouldn't be overly surprised if it was down to game time, or lack off. The statement is on the blunt side.
  7. I reckon we got sent him by total accident. He was far too good to be sent on loan to us. No offence Motherwell
  8. The key to that was Butcher, who's the wrong side of 30 for 5 months on the treatment table. Johnston and furlong also played a huge part in the solidity last season. Mugabi, sods and Blaney, were they solid last season? How much did sods kick a ball from January onwards. Anyway, I think we are crying out for a leader. It would have been a far more important signing than KVV would have been in defining the season.
  9. Evidently we can't, we can't defend. There is absolutely zero leadership. We brought in a bunch of kids to play wb. We could have sacrificed one of those for a CB, nah?
  10. Would I have taken a draw before kick off - Yes Would I have taken a draw at half time - 1 million percent Would I have taken a draw when Aberdeen equalised - absofuckinglutely Positives - we didn't totally shite the bed and lose the game.
  11. I wish I could stay away from this for 25 minutes. Check my phone at ft and see we won 4-3, against all the odds. Is that too much to ask?
  12. Only reason I can think for that sub is to give us a bit more of a threat as opposed to settling for sitting in and hoofing it. If that makes sense.
  13. Was about to say the same, a sub at half time to stop the inevitable would have been the obvious shout.
  14. 4-3 Aberdeen Worth a tenner to soften the blow
  15. A quick look at Bet365 has Motherwell 21/20 favourites, it also has Mika Biereth at 6/1 first scorer. the first scorer offerings in 365 are very odd to say the least. anyway, to the team tonight, Halliday limped off on Tuesday so I reckon Miller will be in from the start. Also wouldn't be hugely surprised to see one of the 15 wing backs make a start, Devine most likely.
  16. Nearly 2k well fans tomorrow, reckon we will get about 2100ish by kick off. Good support.
  17. I thought it was a fake account at first, but we have re-signed Oli Shaw.
  18. likewise mate, cheers for your help.
  19. Morton ticket office very helpful fwiw, good guys.
  20. Aye, I actually really like the fan base app, but I wasn't sure how much you'd be able to do on it in terms of changing tickets etc. Not that you can do it on many similar site tbf, hope more than expectation. Cheers mate.
  21. I've made an arse of it and bought a ticket for the home end. Would I be able to phone morton ticket office and sort this or do any morton fans know if there is a way I can do it online.
