  1. That is not the stance from Camelon on any other player, which I would guess there is more to it than suggested
  2. There was me thinking the rumours and amazing what you hear said it all in my post lol, your reply really just confirmed my initial reaction to the rumours and bullshit that many people I feel needed to get facts correct
  3. Are you naming them? As heard rumours then turns out thats all they were
  4. I know the new teams can play due to them still not being official members until AGM.
  5. Was Lithgae meant to play Whitburn today, heard they were going to play out of ignorance to the EOS ruling, amazing the rumours you hear.
  6. Thursday, July 1 Camelon Juniors – Syngenta This is not a confirmed game and not on any Camelon friendly lists.
  7. Brora rightly should be there considering they missed out last season along with Kelty for the play off
  8. Only named players given to Contact tracing will isolate so the player tested positive must have named his full squad out. The way it has been done for the Shire is an extreme contradiction on the process that is well documented on NHS websites, Contact Tracing websites. 1) Everyone doesn't need to isolate-Confirmed by Contact Tracing website and personal contact with Forth Valley Tracing team that I have had. 2) Not this either as only named people have to isolate ( and the positive person) after Risk assessment carried out by Contact Tracing on the individuals replies.,and if any of the isolated persons start to get symptoms they then get tested and if positive the process starts again with contact tracing were named people get isolated, even if tested negative after showing symptoms the person still needs to isolate for 14 days regardless. 3) Pretty much same approach as 2 My personal contact with the forth valley Health Protection Team/forth valley Contact tracing/NHS is that the wide scale approach to isolate everyone within a team is not the way it should be done as the process effectively means they end up over isolating people that really don't need to be isolated and makes absolute zero sense to follow this approach. not a direct quote from contact tracing but pretty much the basics. It appears the Shire have been completely shafted and its peoples jobs as well, poor poor play from Contact Tracing on this one.
  9. My point was more to the general sweeping statement that included travel being a cost to the 20s teams overall, as I am trying to point out that it isn't Fact that its cheaper to run than a youth team, it might very well be the case that for many teams there will be no more outlay than a 19s team but for teams on the edges of the East/West or dead central will still have some associated travel costs to the team/players etc
  10. How does this work for teams in Fife and the likes of Camelon and Dunipace, very little will change for these teams with up to 30/ 40 miles travel to away games Again all dependent on facilities as not all teams operate the same, Fact is 20s team that I budgeted for was more expensive than the youth teams within our set-up. Again having players within the 20s set-up I am involved in on pro contracts coming from the 20s budget/costs, what might be good for you and other teams is not what is going on at other teams in terms of costs. IE 20s players on pro-contracts might come out of the 1st team budget, again each has a different model on how they develop players. Facts are only relevant to the team you are involved in not a sweeping statement that all costs are equal
  11. In 2 years haven't ever been advised that the fee is £3 to £5, I can only recall 2 teams charging money on their home games and it was £2 entry and this was always advised to the away teams through the Secretaries that be made aware of the entry fee. 6. Home Clubs will be responsible for deciding on the level of admission charges and will retain all gate receipts.
  12. Those reason wont be enough to say all games would be on astro but they certainly are substantial reasons not to chew up your 1st teams park for Friday night games and common sense approach by the Clubs to ensure 1st team football on a Saturday goes ahead, not 1 club will put their grass park under pressure with to many games played on it especially in winter hence why teams that did use grass IE Newtongrange main park would always be astro in the winter months and why I suspect many Clubs avoided usage of their Grass parks for 20s. As the cost to upkeep a grass park isn't like the Council park down the road.
  13. Correct me if I am wrong but the 3g cage is fine as the spectators then need to be outside the cage which creates the barrier. Seen this implemented at a few games I was involved in.
  14. This will be hugely dependent on what facilities teams have as the cost to play astro every Friday compared to youth teams playing on public council parks, also travel costs to play in the East compared to a more central youth set up. Also the type of contract offered to 20s players might not always be in the amateur bracket, there is also the cost to have an experienced Manager, Assistant Manager etc instead of your usual parent/volunteer will be the coach scenario.
  15. One of the changes to happen was the pretty much full new committee that came onboard or as the Falkirk Herald put a hostile takeover. It's hard to believe just how much resistance and back ground noise was being created by junior dinosaurs associated with Camelon back when the new committee made the leap forward. Good luck to all Clubs/Committees who work hard to deliver new chapters in their Clubs Histories.
  16. Syngenta lost a lot of their youth teams last year and I believe they have only 2 x 11 a side teams left, the over 320 quote might be an old one. Syngenta Juniors as it started out is a far cry from where it is now and the only saving grace was the new back room team that came onboard. Syngenta have had a full wake up call on their ambitions and the hardships involved, 3 managers into 1st season,a full turn around in players from the youth to older ammie players now and the financial cost to run a 1st team never mind adding a very costly U20s. I suspect Syngenta will remain in the Junior League
  17. Can Syngenta afford to run an U20s along with their 1st team both having the expense of ground hire. The fall out that Syngenta had with LK I don't see this ever going to happen at LK facility, Grangemouth will never be able to accommodate Friday night football either as last report coming from Grangemouth was the floodlights were seriously inadequate and the athletics as well. If Syngenta do apply I suspect that the burden on an U20s cost wise wont be justified and would need invested in a 1st team venture
  18. mate that sounds like a very pragmatic way of thinking, no way will that concept catch on "I may not know where I'm going, but I'll be damned if I'm going back where I've been"
  19. Been to Blackburn twice and enjoyed my hospitality, that community centre would make a lovely car park or developed to further enhance Blackburn Community.
  20. Maybe under the weather warnings and conditions they felt it was necessary to get out of them hills soon as possible before there was a movie made about the missing Suachie team.
  21. Fair for whom? Everybody, why would it not be fair,if your good enough to be in that 1st Division then that's were you will land at the end of the day, technically speaking everyone is in the 1st Division albiet conferences. It has been voted on and by the looks it has been something clubs gave some thought to as the Divisional vote was a land slide compared to Conference start date , I would like to think that this is an indication of how fair the process has been viewed.
  22. Seems clubs voted 2:1 for Divisional football and an extremely close vote to start it 21/22 season instead of 20/21. Its all to play for next season to get set into that 1st Division In the grand scale of things 3 years at conferences will be reflected as fair and a just way to have done it. Hopefully now all the East Juniors come onboard now.
  23. The only way the junior teams will get entry next season 20/21 is by application, the offer by the LL/Eos last year to help set up a west feeder at tier 6 should still be on the table, the east juniors that apply will be in whatever is voted on for the structure of 20/21 season if that's conferences or tier 7,8,9 etc 1 feeder from west/east/south into LL More or less option W but with the EOS teams getting to vote on structure there is no reason why it cant be Tier 7,8,9 coming right down from west and east under the 3 main feeders to the LL IF the full juniors come across. I can see a glimmer of hope that the west will get enough applicants to get Tier 6 started and a few applicants from the East moving into what ever the EOS votes for 20/21. The SJFA will hold onto whatever it can to preserve its name and whatever else is going on with them but at the determent to its association over a number of years, in my opinion this is the last year for the SJFA to come onboard and keep their association within the pyramid. My opinion is largely based on I believe that West Clubs will come out and apply for Tier 6 and leave the SJFA ranks
  24. Do you guys only record home games as would have been nice to see the away game against Camelon, was a good game last night much like the first game.
