Their front pages on Monday and Tuesday. They were probably jizzing in their pants as the presses started rolling. -
Well, Nomme Kalju were a very poor side. Not sure how match can be learned about this season's Celtic based on the last two matches. Cluj will be a much sterner test I reckon. Actually a bit concerned that Celtic may not make it past them.

The hurt on show by the Daily Ranger at the moment is off the scale. Any Celtic fan who buys that rag needs to have a word with themself. -

Haha most amusing. -
Federer fully deserved that. Whoever wins the battle between Nadal's forehand and Federer's backhand generally wins these matches. Roger won that battle today. Looking forward to Sunday. Should be a good one.

He's my favourite tennis player. Everyone has their own favourite/favourites.

Yes. Get in! Now I can relax and watch the second semi-final. Hope it lives up to the billing.

Um..............Inverdale hosts all of ITV's coverage of the French Open. Castle and Lloyd are at Queen's every year. Petchey has commentated on some classics at the US Open these last few years. He really seems to build the excitement level with his commentary.

45 shots. What a rally. Great backhand winner by the champ.

Novak's forehand has gone AWOL. Concerning.

I don't like John Inverdale as a commentator. His best role is as a presenter. I would like to hear Chris Bradnam or Mark Petchey commentating on the semis and final, they are both really good. At least Mac is in the booth, he's always good to listen to.

Gammon. Shite patter that, ironically, is used by people who claim to hate racial epithets.

Disappointing to see both women's semi-finals be so lopsided. Have a feeling the final will be a good bit closer. Really looking forward to tomorrow. Novak should be able to take care of business, but I'm tipping Bautista-Agut to take a set off him and make things a bit more uncomfortable than some might expect. Rafa v Roger has the potential to be great. Ordinarily I would fancy Federer to have the edge on grass but Rafa is playing so well just now. It feels like a coin flip match to me. Hope it goes to five sets and is yet another classic between two of the best to ever do it. I don't really mind who wins. If Roger wins I like Novak's chances better in the final but if Rafa wins then the final will be a better match to watch. Novak's style v Rafa's style just seems to click and matches between them are bloody awesome to watch.

I have been supporting all the Scottish teams(except Sevco) in Europe the last few years. However, seeing how many people on here wanted Celtic to fail the other night really makes me think twice about it.

Konta was the favourite yes. But Strycova is a handy grass court player so it was never likely to be the one sided contest that some casual observers, or rabid British tennis fans, were expecting. I don't think it was really a lack of fight that did for Konta. She went a set down to Sloane Stephens and beat her. She went a set down to Petra Kvitova and beat her. So a lack of fight doesn't really seem to be the issue. She's a bit of an introvert as a person and there was basically a huge expectation around Wimbledon today that she was going to win and be in the semi-finals. Maybe when things started to go wrong it all just got too much for her. Speculation, of course. I think she either needs to add more mental strength or more variation in her playing style if she is ever going to win a big one. As things stand, she can serve her way deep into a Grand Slam but that won't be enough to take her all the way.

I think what today showed was that Johanna Konta's game is pretty one dimensional. Once Strycova started playing lots of slice shots and giving Konta no pace to work with, she was lost. The second set was a capitulation. The match was running away from Konta at a rapid pace and she did absolutely nothing to change it. Either she couldn't see what was happening or she lacked the ability to do anything about it. Either way, it puts a huge question mark over her ability to ever win a Grand Slam. Personally I don't think she will.

Come on Riske, get Williams oot.

Feels like five minutes since the Scottish Cup final. Could happily do with another few football free weeks. Haven't missed it at all.

Naw. Albion Rovers would hump them though.
