Can’t back this up with statistics but since Gibson left and McKay came in we seem to have gone downhill so is he not as culpable as Price? You could be right about the end of the season though.
I agree, i believe he is as cupable as Price and i would imagine he probably has similar ideas. It seems to be the way we do it. Manager steps down and the assistant gets the job. Not sure how healthy that is too be honest. Sometimes the players need a new voice. That is 7 years Price has been at Elgin.

Where are you planning getting a new manager at this time of the season and where are we getting better quality players? I agree the team lacks quality but it’s more or less the same team who made play offs last season and who were on a fine run in January resulting in Price getting the manager of the month. It’s a league of fine margins. I personally think Price has enough credit in the bank but either way now is not the time for change.
I would imagine the team of Sid Mackay and Alex Bone are already been lined up to replace Price anyway. On the manager of the month i feel that Darryls 2 late goals put a slightly positive spin on poor performances. Albeit the Kelty game was a great performance. It is the constant changing of players positions that is very frustrating with Price. But i do agree with you he does probably have enough in the bank having slept on it.

Absolutely disgraceful run we are on. I fear if we do not change the manager now we are on a one way slide to the highland league. Severe lack of quality

Tough games keep on coming. Big test for us today. Will be tight i think.

Come on Elgin. Big game for both teams today.

Great win today. Badly needed it to stop the losing run. Delighted with the 3 points.

Huge game today. Could go either way. Would probably be happy with a draw but would be great to nick it. Looking forward to watching the live stream.

Great win for us. Very solid start to the season

Brilliant news on Bronsky re-signing. Our squad is now looking pretty strong considering the circumstances. A lot of clubs will almost be starting from scratch, hopefully our squad being so familiar will lead to a strong start in what is a much shorter season than usual.

Agreed. I think somebody must have let the club know that the previous coverage wasn't up too scratch. It has certainly changed for the better massively over the past 6 months.Aye definitely, the club has used social media far more effectively in recent times too. The days of finding out about signings when the stadium announcer reads their name out are hopefully gone.0 -
The Colts suggestion thrown out. Final vote to be in by next Monday is for 14/10/10/10 with no relegation and Brora and Kelty coming into our league. Can't see that getting enough support either tbh.

Brilliant news for Elgin City and the whole community. Was held up for far too long by the council but the team did brilliantly to get it over the line.Great to see that the Council has approved the Elgin Sports Community Trust proposal for Lower Borough Briggs. Will be a massive benefit to the local community, & a step-change opportunity for the club. Well done to the ESCT team for making this happen.2 -
He actually comes across pretty well. The work that man puts in certainly cannot be called into question.https://www.facebook.com/106061874434164/posts/128934498813568/
A wee video of tatters on the current situation of covid19 and some more bits
*sorry dont know if the links working but its Moray films on facebook*1 -
I am totally against it aswell. Takes away the competitive element in the league for me. Would the colts teams be allowed to be promoted if they won the league in the proposal?

How long do we think before Shane Sutherland is back for a 5th spell at BB on loan? Before or after we are allowed crowds back at the games[emoji6]

I think this might just be the 1st batch of contracts running out. I seen somewhere that for some reason most contracts for players in scotland either run out on June 1st or June 30th. So we could well see the rest of the out of contract boys appearing on that available list at the end of the month.

I'm seeing the Northern Scot are reporting that now aswell. On top of losing Shane this just hits home how hard it is going to be when football resumes. They won't be the last either.I see that Rabin Omar and Andy Macdonald appear on the SPFA site for out of contract players looking for clubs.0 -
What do we think is going to happen with next season. Just heard on radio scotland podcast there that Tatters backs the Mothballing the season option. Surely in a few months time there will be limited numbers allowed into football matches.

Did the Young lad Ashley Ballan not sign a 2 year deal then go right to Huntly on loan?[emoji848]

How's that? A lot of backing for the proposal?[emoji848]You may need a trip to Specsavers. [emoji6]0 -
Was interesting to listen to Tatters speaking on the radio at the weekend.Latest thoughts from the Chairman - https://www.pressandjournal.co.uk/fp/sport/football/elgin-fc/2171782/a-matter-of-months/
Can't really see the 14-14-14 proposal getting much backing in the higher leagues. I really don't see how any of the lower league teams are going to be able to sign any players at all if there is no one going to be allowed in through the gates, no income at all. Maybe the players will need to sign amateur forms and just take the hit and play for nothing for a few months until the vaccine allows proper crowds to come back.0 -
I think the board of the reconstruction committee being led by Anne Budge tells us all what exactly is going to happen. There will be no relegation.Nothing in the statement to say that is the case, sensible though that option might be. It would be daft to try and predict the outcome of the reconstruction discussions given the farcical circumstances of the last week or so.0 -
I believe the plan is no relegation. Stranraer would stay up aswell. As would Partick and Hearts.Unless they have no relegation that would leave you with an odd number in the league.0

I am not sure on that one. Mackay got sent to the stand in the Stranraer game but cannot remember Price getting into bother.
