Folk geein Bair a hard time
Wasn't his best game, nowhere near it, probably something to do with the lack of service or fellow forward. Guy has nae chance with some in our support, and it's predictable as f**k, that he's in the firing line again despite his recent form.
Get the feeling this will be a recurring theme whenever things aren't going as well, along with the long run without a win getting brought up against Kettlewell, with any recent form overlooked.
We weren't great but won a game with a threadbare team, comfortably in the end, we're into the next round, we do need more players and we will sign folk. Just enjoy yer Saturday night.
I don't disagree with this post at all. Our fan base (probably most in Scotland) are full of a loud minority who need a target to moan about, unfortunately Theo is the next in a long line of players who'll take the blame.
On the flip side though, he's a likeable guy who certainly gives his all but he's a hopeless footballer and 3 goals in 2 games in a bit premature for anyone to call "form". Wouldn't see me getting on his back at games though.

I feel sorry for whoever is hunting for some good news so that the club can officially announce Mika's departure.
Acceptable replacement ready.

If someone offers us money for Bair we take it. It would be madness not to.
I like him but he's absolutely useless 90% of the time.
Take the money and run.

I'm not a huge fan of it BUT I don't think the actual video itself is the issue at all here tbh. Step back a bit from it and it's just a daft video with a clear message asking for investment (I think).
It's the previous messaging which seemed to be giving a heads up to the fan base that a serious investment idea rather than a shoot for the stars pitch for an American investor
...and to think everyone was annoyed at Weir for basically saying it was quirky video and kind of distancing himself from it.
Surely this can't be the actual investment discussion /opportunities that has been mentioned as potential in the last few months? Surely?
That would be insane. It's like a 6th year school project. The fact we have paid an external company makes it even worse.

Not had a chance to listen yet.
What was the Hunter Stand f**k up me mentioned?

Main would probably work well with Mika but it’s a no thanks from me. There’s other areas that are the priority.
I agree. Would be better than we currently have but not the answer either.

At least Livingston won’t be the 17th game without a win.
Is that the technicality that the board will run with if we get beat by Livi?
Wasn't the 17th game so on we go.
I joke obviously as I don't think a even a loss to Livi will see him gone.

Paton has, in my eyes, shown he's cover at best.
I don't even think it's harsh to say Paton, Davor, O'Donnell, Bevis, Obika, Bair and Shaw are all cover at best, and 90% of them make the first team most weeks. It shows your the current predicament of our overall squad.

What are the nearest pubs at the stadium? Is there any?

SODs will be delighted we’ve named a stand after him!
It's the least he deserves as our most capped Scotland player.

That goal there shows you exactly why Big Bevis shouldn't be anywhere near the team. Miles out of position, no where near the header. A neat little gift to kill the game.
Not the only offender today but killed any slight hope of coming back.

Old news now I guess, but yikes.
Kettlewell directly addressing concerns from 'The Thread' in news bulletins just goes to show the powerhouse it has become.

Aye.
In all seriousness though, I agree. I think he's got the potential to be smashing but it's that weird thing of where he fits in.
As you say, he's not replacing Spittal but when you look at the goals he's scored (in not a lot of time on the park) he has a knack of being able to drift into pockets of space...a space interpreter if you will.
His goal against St Mirren is a fucking brilliant finish like.
Got to disagree, a couple of good goals aside there's not many players on the park who pose less of a threat when lining up a shot. His shooting is like a young Jamie Murphy's. 90% trundle into keepers arms with no pace.
I don't think he's got anything either physically or technically to ever make it at this level.

I get that times are tough but a professional football club in the top league in Scotland advertising for a role that is salary free just doesn't sit right with me. It's embarrassing.
Considering we are fan owned, having a supporter liaison working quite substantial hours (I'd guess) for free we are basically looking for someone who loves the club and is most likely retired or not working to try and fit that in. With all due respect I don't think that will leave many candidates suitable for the role available.

What they are spending is clearly never sustainable and they don't look like going back to a sustainable model anytime soon. I don't think I've ever seen a more obvious car crash waiting to happen.
Who'd have foreseen that being the case when Leeanne Dempster took over.

Sorry if this has already been answered in the chat (it probably has) but the image of that stand brought me here.
Is the plan to have stands at each goal as well? Surely a stand at one side and a stand for 2 sofas isn't all that's to be there after all this time?

I got sorted just before reading that post further back.
Surely someone else on here would take @J_Stewart's ticket off him tonight to see a sold out Scotland game?
